Puwede nang bumoto sa Twitter at Facebook para sa All-Stars

MANILA, Philippines - Ang NBA All-Star game ay para sa mga fans.

Sila ang pumipili ng starters,  bumoboto kung sino ang mananalo sa slam dunk contest at nag-aabang sa promo. Ang All-Star ay isang malaking kasiyahan para sa mga mahihilig sa basketball.

Ngunit marami na ngayong dapat baguhin sa sistema ng All-Star voting.

Ang konsepto ng paper balloting ay luma na. Halos lahat ngayon ay nasa internet na pero tamad ang iba na pumunta sa isang website para bumoto at hindi na interesado kahit na may mga promo.

Anong ginagawa ng Twitter at facebook?

Patok na ngayon ang social media sa mga tao sa buong mundo kaya nang ilunsad ng NBA ang All-Star ballot para sa February event sa Houston, sinabi nilang maaari nang bumoto ang mga fans sa Twitter at Facebook.

“ 2013 NBA All-Star Balloting presented by Sprint gives fans around the world the opportunity to vote daily for their favorite players as starters for the 2013 NBA All-Star Game in Houston. For the first time ever, NBA fans can vote via social media networks, including Facebook and Twitter, and Sina Weibo and Tencent QQ in China,” ayon sa press release ng NBA.

“Twitter voting will allow fans to tweet a vote for one player each day throughout the All-Star balloting period. The tweet must include a player’s first and last name, along with hash tag #NBABALLOT. Facebook voting will allow fans to fill out one full ballot (three frontcourt and two guards from each conference) per day, through a custom application on Facebook,” dagdag sa release.

Hindi pa malinaw kung papaano matse-check ng NBA ang libu-libong tweets araw-araw.

Gayunpaman, magandang hakbang ito na ginawa ng NBA para maabot ang mga fans.
