“As lyricist and composer of the musical – masakit talaga sa puso namin yang mga intrusions na yan. As much as I hate it, hindi ko din naman masisisi ang producers kasi kailangan ng sponsors. At sinusundan talaga ng sponsors ang ABS CBN kasi malakas ang talents nila. Ang tanong ko ay yung sa mga sponsors – meron na nga silang standees sa lobby, announced and projected na ang pangalan at products nila before and after the show. Bakit kailangan pang ipasok at isaksak sa narrative ng play ang slogan nila? How insecure is their market that they have to take over a scene by making our cast sing their jingle just for kicks? For me, power trip na ‘yan kasi may pera sila as sponsors. And it pains me, Avid. It pains everyone. Power trip na yang intrusion.”
