Dagdag na kaso vs VP Sara tiniyak ng PNP
MANILA, Philippines — Makaraang ang pagsasampa ng kasong direct assault, disobedience, at grave coercion, tiniyak ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na marami pa silang kasong ihahain laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte .
Ayon kay PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo ang mga naunang kaso ay inihain ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) laban kay Duterte, Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group (VPSPG) head Colonel Raymund Dante Lachica at mga John Does ay kasunod ng insidente ng paglilipat sa St. Luke’s hospital mula sa Veterans Memorial Medical Center sa chief of the staff ni VP Sara na si Atty. Zuleika Lopez.
“Inaasahan natin na may mga iba pa po tayong mga kaso maliban nga dito sa grave coercion, direct assault, at disobedience to persons in authority,” ani Fajardo.
Hindi naman tinukoy ni Fajardo ang mga posibleng kaso na isasampa sa Bise Presidente.
Samantala, itinanggi naman ni PNP chief Police General Rommel Marbil, na hindi politically motivated ang ginawa ng mga pulis kundi pagsunod lamang sa batas.
“The PNP remains committed to its mandate to enforce the law without fear or favor. The filing of cases against any individual, regardless of status or political affiliation, is a reflection of our duty to the Constitution and the Filipino people,” ani Marbil.
