Pinoy fans ng Gilas daragsa sa MOA Arena
MANILA, Philippines — Mas magiging inspirado ang Gilas Pilipinas dahil inaasahang dudumugin ang laban nito kontra sa New Zealand sa FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers na idaraos sa Nobyembre 21 sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.
Sinabi ni Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas executive director Erika Dy na halos soldout na ang Philippines-New Zealand game.
Nasa 80-90 percent ang nabenta nang tickets sa naturang laro.
“Ticket sales are doing very well specifically for the New Zealand game, where 80-90 percent have been sold out already,” ani Dy.
Kaya naman asahan na ang mainit na suporta ng Pinoy fans sa home game ng Gilas Pilipinas.
Nanawagan naman si Gilas coach Tim Cone na patuloy na suportahan ang Gilas Pilipinas sa laban nito.
“We’ve said from the beginning, we wanna compete at the international level, but we want to win in Asia. New Zealand is part of Asia and Hong Kong obviously is part of Asia,” ani Cone.
May full-house capacity na 20,000 ang MOA Arena.
“This (game against New Zealand) is really important for us, and again, hopefully everybody shows up. This is important for us, and we hope it’s important for you,” dagdag ni Cone.
