TNT dapat kondisyon sa PBA Finals — Reyes

MANILA, Philippines — Umaasa si coach Chot Reyes ng nagdedepensang TNT Tropang Giga na nasa kondisyon ang kanyang mga players sa kanilang PBA Finals rematch ng Barangay Ginebra.

Kabilang dito sina veterans Jayson Castro at Kelly Williams na paghuhugutan ni Reyes ng puwersa.

“It’s just a matter of making sure that you have all the tools at your disposal, all the pieces,” ani Reyes. “And this time hopefully, we can stay healthy so that we can compete.”

“We will need all of our guys to be at 100 percent to have a chance,” dagdag ng nine-time PBA champion coach.

Muling magtutuos ang Tropang Giga at Gin Kings sa Season 49 PBA Governors’ Cup best-of-seven championship series sa ikalawang sunod na pagkakataon.

Tinalo ng TNT ang Gi­nebra, 4-2, sa kanilang finals showdown noong 2023 edition tampok ang duwelo nina imports Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at Justin Brownlee.

“I guess you can say try a revenge the finals from last year but we are just looking to take one step at a time and not try to be ahead of ourselves,” ani Brownlee.

Kagaya ng Tropang Giga, may ilang players din ang Gin Kings na nagre­rekober sa kanilang injury. At isa rito si veteran Joe Devance.

Nagkaroon ang 42-an­yos na 12-time PBA champion ng left knee injury sa Game Six sa semifinals series ng Ginebra at San Miguel.

Si Devance ang inaasahang dedepensa kay Poy Erram sa kanilang title duel na magsisimula sa Linggo sa Ynares Center sa Antipolo City.
