AFAD Arms Show lalarga na
MANILA, Philippines — Hahataw na bukas ang Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers, Inc. (AFAD) na ika-30 edisyon ng Defense and Sporting Arms Show sa SMX Convention Center sa Pasay City.
Sinabi ni AFAD president Edwin Lim na mahigit 40 members at exhibitors ang lalahok sa five-day arms show na magtatampok ng top-notch sporting firearms, ammunition at paraphernalia mula sa kilalang manufacturers at distributors.
“AFAD’s thrust is safe and responsible gun ownership. All stakeholders are united on this mission and vision. We’re looking forward to an auspicious arms show,” ani Lim na siya ring president ng Philippine Practical Shooting Association (PPSA).
Bagong halal lamang si Lim kasama ang mga bagong AFAD officers na sina Reynaldo Espineli (Vice President), Maria Cristina Tuason-Gonzalez (Secretary), Edwin Año, Jr. (Treasurer) at Alaric Alexander J. Topacio (Comptroller).
Layunin din ng event na magbigay ng sapat na kaalaman sa tamang paggamit ng baril.
Magsisimula ang programa sa alas-9 ng umaga.
Imbitado sina Senate President Sen. Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero at Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil, gayundin sina Presidential son and Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Ferdinand Alexander ‘Sandro’ Araneta Marcos, Senator Lito Lapid, at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Andres Centino.
