MANILA, Philippines — Ipinagmalaki ni Presidential son William Vincent “Vinny” Araneta Marcos ang pamamahala ng bansa sa bigating FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2025 sa isang ceremonial launch sa SM Mall of Asia Arena noong Martes.

“We’re proud and confident of hosting the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2025,” wika ng 27-anyos na bunso ni President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa seremonyang ginawa sa pagitan ng opening-day matches ng Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Men’s Week 3 sa Pasay City arena.

Si Marcos ang tumatayong chairman ng Local Organizing Committee (LOC) ng world championship na nakatakda sa Setyembre 12 hanggang 28 na idaraos sa MOA Arena at sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Pormal na ipinasa ni Volleyball World CEO Finn Taylor ang FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2025 ceremonial ball kay Marcos kasama sina LOC co-chairs Senators Alan Peter Cayetano at Pia Cayetano, Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, Philippine Olympic Committee president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino at Philippine Sports Commission chairman Richard Bachmann.

Pinamunuan ni Philippine National Volleyball Federation president Ramon “Tats” Suzara, ang LOC president at CEO, ang seremonya na dina­luhan din nina Asian Volleyball Confederation president Rita Sibowo at Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano.

Sumaksi sa event ang mga top officials ng Volleyball World, VNL at FIVB na inoobserbahan ang third-time hosting ng bansa sa VNL.
