Dubai promoter handang ayusin ang Pacquiao-Mayweather
MANILA, Philippines – Kumpiyansa ang isang fight promoter sa Dubai na kaya niyang ayusin ang sinasabing isa sa mga maaaring pinakamatinding laban sa boksing sa pagitan nina Manny Pacquiao at Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Sinabi ni Prince Amir Shafipour sa ulat ng gulfnews.com na siya lamang ang makakakumbinsi sa dalawang boksingero na magharap na.
“I will honestly and truthfully tell you that if anyone can convince them (Pacquiao and Mayweather) to fight, and to fight in Dubai, I can,†wika ni Shafipour.
Aniya gagamitin niya ang kanyang mga “connections†upang matuloy ang pinakamalaking laban sa larangan ng boksing.
“I have a lot of worldwide connections, with managers, promoters, fighters, people in the business, who speak the same language that Mayweather and Pacquiao are speaking,†paliwanag ni Shafipour.
“I am currently working with a major boxing promoter in the USA, who is connected to both the Pacquiao and Mayweather camps, and who has the capacity to help me pull this off. It’s not a boast, it’s a commitment.â€
Ilang beses nang nauwi sa wala ang mga negosasyon para pagharapin sina Pacquiao at Mayweather, pero sinabi ng Prinsipe na kaya niya itong maituloy.
“I know many people have failed to bring them to the ring, for many reasons, but I believe that we have the formula to make it happen. And then the whole boxing scene will explode,†sabi ni Shafipour.
