PLDT overall champion sa 5th MVPO
MANILA, Philippines - Inangkin ng PLDT ang overall championship sa katatapos na 5th MVP Olympics (MVPO), isang annual sports event kasama ang 21 kumpanya sa ilalim ni businessman at sports patron Manny V. PaÂngilinan.
Sa 2014 MVPO na piÂnaÂmahalaan ng Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), humakot ang PLDT ng medal tally na 14 golds, 21 silvers at 8 bronzes.
Sinundan sila ng Meralco (19, 17, 10) golds, 7 silvers at 10 bronzes at Maynilad na nagtala ng 9 golds, 18 silvers at 10 bronzes.
Pumang-apat naman ang Smart sa kanilang meÂdal haul na 11 golds, 6 silvers at 12 bronzes.
Humigit-kumulang sa 2,500 empleyado ang sumaÂli sa naturang weeklong MVPO na nagtampok sa 26 sports events kasama ang basketball, bowling, at track and field.
Nagdaos din ang MVÂPO, may temang “Tatak MVP, Tatak ng Tagumpay,†ng talent competitions na kinabibilangan ng Battle of the Bands, MVP Idol siÂnging contest at isang cosplay competition sa hanay ng mga top executives.
Ang closing ceremony ay idinaos sa Meralco grounds noong Marso 23.

Metro Pacific Investments Corp., Metro Pacific Tollways, Delos Santos Medical Center, MegaCliÂnic, Central Luzon Doctors Hospital, Meralco, PLDT, ePLDT, Philex Mining, Outback Steakhouse, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Riverside Medical Center-Bacolod, Makati Medical Center, Mediaquest, Maynilad, First Pacific Leadership Academy, SPi Global, Davao Doctors Hospital, Asian Hospital and Medical Center at ang Cardinal Santos Medical Center.
