Lisensiya ng driver sa C5 Road accident, sinuspinde ng 90 araw ng LTO

MANILA, Philippines — Sinuspinde ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ng 90 araw ang lisensiya ng truck driver na sangkot sa madu­gong aksidente sa Taguig na ikinamatay ng isang katao at ikinasugat ng dalawang iba pa.

Ayon kay LTO Vigor Mendoza, isinailalim na rin sa alarma ang trak na sangkot sa aksidente, ang Sino Truck Howo na may plakang NCX213 habang naka-pending ang resulta ng imbestigasyon sa aksidente.

“We already issued a Show Cause Order both to the driver and the registered owner of the truck, asking them to explain why they should not be penalized based on the existing laws and traffic rules and regulations,” sabi ni Mendoza.

Pinagpapaliwanag din ng LTO ang driver kung bakit hindi dapat mapawalang bisa ang kanyang driver’s license dahil sa paglabag sa reckless driving (Sec. 48 of R.A. No. 4136) at improper person to ope­rate a motor vehicle (Sec. 27 of R.A. No. 4136) gayundin ang registered owner/operator ng trak kung bakit hindi ito dapat kasuhan ng administratibo kaugnay nang naganap na aksidente.

Inatasan din ni LTO-Law Enforcement Ser­vice director Eduardo de Guzman ang driver at registered owner ng trak na dumalo ng pagdinig sa LTO Central Office sa Quezon City sa  December 27.
