High tech mobile command center pinasinayaan, nasubukan sa SONA 2024
MANILA, Philippines — Pinasinayaan at nasubukan kahapon sa ikatlong State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang high-tech Mobile Command Center (MCC) Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
Alas-9 ng umaga kahapon nang isagawa ang unveiling at blessing ng bagong MCC sa pangunguna ni MMDA Acting Chairman Don Artes, sa Commonwealth corner Batasan/IBP Road sa Quezon City.
Ayon kay Artes maliban sa traffic management plan para sa SONA ng pangulong Marcos, minonitor din ang mga kaganapan at traffic situation sa lugar ng Batasang Pambansa.
Magbibigay aniya ng enable real-time coordination at communication sa mga tauhan ng MCC. Kapansin-pansin din ang mga features na naka-link sa bago at pinahusay na MMDA Communications and Command Center.
“The MCC is equipped with state-of-the-art communications systems such as a portable command and dispatch system, multimode radio, and remote CCTVs and drone capabilities. It could be used for monitoring significant events like the President’s annual SONA, and during times of disasters and road emergencies,” ani pa ni Artes.
Mayroong satellite internet service ang mobile command center kung saan sakaling ipag-utos ni Pangulong Marcos na ipadala sa probinsya, maaari itong dalhin at gamitin bilang mobile incident command post at surveillance system na may walong deployable camera na maaaring masubaybayan sa pamamagitan ng monitoring video wall.
Bukod dito, sinabi ni Artes na sa pakikipag-ugnayan kay DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, magagamit ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang MMDA MCC upang makatugon nang mahusay sa mga emergency situation.
Dumalo rin sa pasinaya sina Philippine National Police Chief General Rommel Francisco Marbil, National Capital region Police Office Director Major Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., at Internal Audit Department Deputy Secretary General Jose Ma. Antonio Tuaño.
