MANILA, Philippines — Nakatakda nang isara ng Manila City Government ang 24/7 drive-thru vaccination at testing services na ipinagkakaloob nito sa Quirino Grandstand simula sa Hunyo 7, 2022.

Sa abiso ng Manila City government nitong Sabado, nabatid na hanggang Hunyo 6 na lamang sila tatanggap ng mga magpapabakuna at magpapa-swab test sa kanilang drive-thru vaccination site.

Nabatid na kakaunti na lamang ang mga motoristang nagpupunta sa lugar para mag-avail ng libreng bakuna at swab test kaya’t nagdesisyon na ang lokal na pamahalaan na itigil na muna ang serbisyo nito.

Tiniyak naman ni Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso na patuloy pa ring magkakaloob ng COVID-19 vaccines at libreng swab test sa ibang vaccination sites sa lungsod.

Ang 24/7 drive-thru vaccination at testing program ng Manila City government ay unang inilunsad ni Moreno at incoming Mayor Honey Lacuna, noong Enero, bilang bahagi ng kanilang pagsusumikap na mas maraming mamamayan, na hindi limitado sa taga-Maynila ang maturukan ng  COVID-19 vaccines.

Ang iba pang vaccination sites ng Maynila ay matatagpuan sa anim na city-run hospitals, gayundin sa mga health centers at ilang malls sa lungsod
