Pasya ni Marcos na ‘wag munang pirmahan 2025 national budget ginagalang ng Kamara
MANILA, Philippines — Iginagalang ni House Appropriations Committee Chairman Zaldy Co ang pasya ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. na ipagpaliban na muna ang paglagda sa 2025 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
Ito ayon kay Co ay upang magkaroon ng sapat na panahon si Pangulong Marcos na mabusisi ng husto ang P6.352 trilyong budget.
“We fully understand and commend President Marcos for his commitment to ensure that the national budget aligns with the country’s priorities,” pahayag ni Co.
“This approach exemplifies the strength of our democratic processes and the effective system of checks and balances in our government,” dagdag ni Co.
Ayon kay Co, nakahanda ang kanilang hanay na makipagtulungan kay Pangulong Marcos hinggil dito.
“We stand prepared to work alongside the President to refine the budget, ensuring it serves the best interests of all Filipinos,” pahayag ni Co.
