Ilalabas na Pinoy-made motorcycles ng Lycan gagamitan ng 'artificial intelligence'

MANILA, Philippines — Marami na sa atin ang gumagamit ng mga smart phones, smart TVs, smart watches atbp. — pero paano kung pwede mo na ring ikabit ang motorsiklo mo sa internet, tapos gawang Pinoy pa?

Inanunsyo na kasi ng Filipino brand na Lycan Motorcycles ang ilang orihinal na high-tech motorcycle models: ang Lycan G6 at Challenger 1, na nakatakdang i-launch sa isang virtual conference sa ika-11 ng Disyembre, 2021.

Isang startup company mula Quezon City, sinabi ng kumpanyang Lycan na naiintindihan nila kung paano maaaring magamit ang teknolohiya para madaliin at gawing mas simple ang buhay ng tao.

"Using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Internet of Things (IoT), Lycan will soon let its riders communicate with their motorcycle, request navigation directions, perform [and] hands-free dialing," sabi ng kumpanya sa kanilang press release.

"[It can also] remotely start its engine, and run motorcycle diagnostics all through verbal commands using its proprietary LUNA A.I. smart voice assistant, similar to Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa, which will be installed in all of its motorcycles and other devices."

Target ng Lycan Motorcycles na hamunin ang global market sa susunod na dekada gamit ang kanilang high-tech na mga motorsiklo.

Smart helmets, accessories

Para sa swabeng experience ng mga rider, gumawa rin ang kumpanya ng smart helmet na may adaptive display screen sa visor nito, bagay na magpapakita ng:

• mapa
• notification bar
• speedometer

Meron din ito ng sumusunod para makapag-usap sa LUNA voice assistant at iba pang Lycan smart helmet users na gumagamit ng dedicated frequency wave:

• built-in microphone
• speakers

Pwede rin itong tumanggap ng tawag kung pipiliin ikabit dito ang isang mobile device gaya ng cellphone.

"The smart helmet will also have a breakthrough emergency feature that can reduce road fatalities which the company will announce and share more about this December of 2021," dagdag pa ng kumpanya pagdating sa safety features nito.

"[I]t wants its riders to feel like Tony Stark inside his Ironman suit with the smart helmet. A downloadable mobile app will also be provided to manage and control all of the features and software across all Lycan products."

Customization

Bukod pa rito, papayagan nito ang mga customer na i-fully customize ang kanilang mga motorsiklo from scratch: mula sa body parts, kulay at engine displacements gamit ang cloud-based motorcycle designer application ng Lycan.

Pwede raw itong lahat gawin bago i-assemble, irehistro at i-deliver diretso sa bahay ng buyer saanman sa Pilipinas.

"[Its] goal for this technology is to drastically reduce safety hazards and added costs from third-party garage customizations while giving its riders a straight-from-the-factorypersonalized motorcycle," dagdag pa nila.

Lahat ng motorsiklo, smart helmets, atbp. ay sinasabing may upgradeable software at firmware na "first of its kind" sa Pilipinas.
