Hustisya sa SAF 44 bigo pa rin - Win

MANILA, Philippines - Binatikos ni Nationalist Peoples Coalition (NPC) senatorial bet at Valenzuela City Rep. Win Gatchalian ang gobyernong Aquino dahil sa pagpapaasa lamang sa pamilya ng SAF 44 at pagkabigong mabigyan ng hustisya ang pagkamatay ng mga ito sa Mamasapano incident matapos hindi pa rin makasuhan ang 90 suspects.

Ginawa ni Rep. Gatchalian ang pahayag matapos batikusin din ni dating Pangulong Ramos ang gobyerno dahil sa kawalan ng hustisya para sa “Fallen 44”.

Si FVR ang nagtatag ng SAF noong siya pa ang hepe ng Philippine Constabulary noong 1983.

“I fully agree with the observation of FVR that there is no final closure of the Mamasapano incident because of the lack of follow-up or hot pursuit against the 90 persons identified in the criminal case filed by the Department of Justice. The case will just be put to waste if none of the 90 suspects get arrested and undergo trial,” wika ni Gatchalian na pambato ng NPC sa senate race sa 2016.

Sinabi pa nito, dapat ang ginawa ni Justice Sec. Leila de Lima ay humingi ng tulong sa AFP at PNP upang maaresto ang 90 suspects na sinasabing sangkot sa Mamasapano incident upang makulong ang mga ito.

“What good is a criminal case if none of the suspects behind the massacre of the SAF 44 are arrested, put behind bars and undergo trial. Malacañang should have issued a directive ordering the PNP and AFP to help arrest the 90 suspects named by the DOJ,” dagdag pa ni Gatchalian.

Sabi pa ng NPC senatorial bet, hindi magkakaroon ng closure ang Mamasapano incident hanggang hindi nakakamit ng SAF 44 ang hustisya.

“It is hard to move on for the families of the SAF 44 and for the entire rank and file of the PNP for as long as there is no assurance from no less than the chief executive that justice will be served for the slain SAF commandos. And this the President can do by ordering the arrest of all the 90 suspects,” paliwanag pa ni Gatchalian.

Magugunita na hiniling din ni Gatchalian sa gobyerno na bigyan ng Medal of Valor ang SAF 44 dahil sa gina­wang sakripisyo ng mga ito para sa misyon sa Mamasapano laban kay Marwan at Basit Usman.
