NFA chief Juan nagbitiw
MANILA, Philippines - Nagbitiw na sa tungkulin si National Food Authority (NFA) Administrator Arthur Juan.
“It is with regret and sadness that we received yesterday the irrevocable resignation of Administrator Arthur Juan. He cited failing health as the reason of his stepping down. I continue to believe he is innocent of the charges brought against him,” wika ni Presidential Assistant for Food Security and Agricultural Modernization Sec. Kiko Pangilinan sa isang statement.
Magugunitang lumitaw sa ‘leak document’ mula sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na positibo umano ang ginagawang imbestigasyon kay Juan na inakusahang nangikil umano ng P15 milyon sa isang rice trader na si Jojo Soliman.
Itinanggi naman ni Juan ang akusasyon laban sa kanya ng rice trader.
Una na itong naghain ng courtesy resignation noong Agosto ngunit hindi ito pinagbigyan ni Pangilinan.
