Vice President Sara Duterte will be returning to The Hague with her mother next month to visit her father, detained former president Rodrigo Duterte.

A former lawmaker believes Vice President Sara Duterte can be convicted in the impeachment trial for betrayal of public trust following her spending spree at the Department of Education.

With her lawyers “more than confident” of her acquittal in an impeachment trial, Vice President Sara Duterte scoffed at suggestions by some lawmakers that her endorsement of 12 senatorial candidates was a move to secure votes against her conviction.
