Rafael Rosell

Yen Santos, who has not been busy after her top series, Halik, with Jericho Rosales, Sam Milby and Yam Concepcion, is the lead actress featured sa episode this afternoon sa Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).

She will have for her leading man, Rafael Rosell, who is back as a Kapamilya after maging Kapuso for a period of seven years.

Of Rafael, considering the long years that he has been in showbiz since year 2000, how come kaya na ‘di pa siya gaanong matatas managalog?

We heard that Norwegian ang nationality ni Rafael, although, may relatives daw siya from Oas, Albay.

AiAi may gagawin pang pelikula bago magbuntis

Bago pala tuluyang mamahinga si AiAi delas Alas to prepare herself para magbuntis, may gagawin siyang movie for a Mother’s Day presentation in May next year.

Well, AiAi said, she’s not at liberty to discuss in details yet anything about the movie.

Currently showing na ang bagong movie ni AiAi na And Ai Thank You, directed by Joven Tan and co-starring her with Rufa Mae Quinto, Dennis Padilla and Kakai Bautista.

Matatandaang AiAi did a movie for Mother’s day years back, titled Ang Tanging Ina, produced by Star Cinema and which turned put to be a monster box-office hit.

Aga bilib na noon pa first BidaMan

How nice naman of Aga Muhlach to congratulate via phone patch ang pinakabagong first BidaMan na si Jin Macapagal, when the latter guested kahapon sa Magandang Buhay.

He knew Jin, Aga said, as he was one of the judges nang sumali si Jin sa search for the Boyband Ph., pero, ‘di pinalad na manalo.

“But I knew may talent siya,” ani Aga. “Bukod sa pagsayaw. May something about him which, if properly developed, can make him a good actor.”

Kinailangang ihabilin sila ng kanilang ina, who had to work as a caregiver in the U.S, para masustentuhan silang magkakapatid, at para makapag-aral din.

Jin’s Mom, however, had always known his dream na makapasok sa showbiz, kaya kahit nasa abroad ito, she kept on encouraging him not to lose hope, even if sometime he wanted na to give up at maghanap na lang ng trabaho.

No wonder na ngayong napili siyang Ultimate BidaMan, considering the prizes that come with it, ultimate desire ni Jin na mapauwi na ang ina, para dito na lang sa Pilipinas mamalagi.

Anak nina Karla, Charlene at Aga, magbarkada

Atasha is one of Aga and Charlene’s twins, the other one ay si Andres.

Magui is Karla’s daughter with former politician, Mike Planas.

Four in all ang anak ni Karla, the eldest of whom, of course, is matinee idol Daniel Padilla.

Karla has another boy and the youngest ay babae rin.

Usually kasi, she invited friends to a big party, as puwede nga ring ituring itong reunion party for people in showbiz, lalo’t ‘yong mga naging extra close sa kanya, at marami sila.

Guess kung ano ang pinagkakaabalahan ni Mother Lily bago siya ma-engaged in film producing and put up Regal Films in the 60s.

Well, she used to sell popcorn sa lobby ng sinehang pag-aari niya na ngayon sa Recto Avenue.

But even then, mahilig na siya sa local showbiz. Tagahanga na siya nina Gloria Romero, Luis Gonzales and the tandem nina Nida Blanca at Nestor de Villa.
