Mommy ni Piolo umuwi pa ng ‘Pinas para lang manood ng pelikula

Earlier before the premiere of the Piolo Pascual-Toni Gonzaga first team-up, Starting Over Again for Star Cine­ma, Toni said in her interview, na she will discourage her pa­rents, Mommy Pinty and Daddy Toni na pumunta sa naturang event.

She has no idea raw kasi how the two will react to what she describes na mga ‘iskandalosong’ eksena niya with Piolo, which she has not done sa mga nakaraan niyang pelikula. Pero dumating ang mag-asawa sa premiere night pero hindi na na­ming nakita kung kaya’t hindi na rin namin alam kung paano nag-react.

Nanood din no less than Toni’s long-time boyfriend, Direk Paul Soriano.

Well, kung sabagay, may ibang dahilan why obviously Direk Paul was eager to watch the movie.

Direk Paul chose not to attend the Star Cinema, producer of Starting Over Again, blowout kung saan nakita ang presence ng ABS-CBN President and CEO Charo Santos Concio na co-executive producer din ng movie kasama ang kanyang younger sister na si Malou Santos.

Malou is managing director of Star Cine­ma.

Ma’am Charo also watched the movie, together with Sir Gabby Lopez, owner of ABS-CBN, Bea Alonzo and newcomer Arjo Atayde.

Piolo’s Mom Amalia, reportedly came home from the U.S., which is a permanent resident, para lang manood ng pelikula ng anak.

Joross sigurado na ang kasal

Joross Gamboa, who plays one of Piolo’s best friends in Starting Over Again, revealed his wedding to girlfriend of five years, Katz Saga. Ang nasabing kasalan will take place November 17 this year.

Both Born Again Christians, they have set their wedding at the New Life Fellowship Church in Parañaque.

Joross said he is lucky na marami siyang assignments from ABS-CBN and Star Cinema, although ‘di raw siya exclusive talent of the twin companies. Nasa cast din si Joross ng rume-rate na bagong sitcom ng ABS-CBN, Home Sweetie Home, topbilled by John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga.

Over at TV5, he is currently taping for an upcoming series, Beking Boksingero with Alwyn Uytingco.

Aga maraming sikreto ang itinuro kay Joross

Joross revealed that when he was new in the game, he learned a lot by listening to the ‘pangaral’ of Aga Muhlach.

Kaya raw madalas silang magkita noon ay dahil may ginagawa siyang project with Aga’s wife Charlene Gonzales.

“Payo sa akin ni Kuya Aga, kahit anong role raw ay tanggapin. From there raw kasi I’ll learn a lot about acting.

“Huwag ko raw ismolin ang pagiging supporting player ko. At higit sa lahat, dapat marunong akong makisama, makisalamuha sa lahat ng uri ng tao.”

“And I should not price myself too high daw. Mas mabuti raw na maraming ginagawa, kesa you are paid high pero parang patak lang ng ulan ang natatanggap mong trabaho,” susog pa ni Joross.

Joross has been in showbiz for 10 years. He is a product of reality show, Search for a Star ng ABS-CBN, where Hero Angeles (nasaan na nga kaya siya?), emerged the champ.

Batchmate niya rin daw si Sandara Park, who is now a name to reckon with in Korean showbiz. And Joseph Bitangcol (another where is he now?).
