Anak ni Jinggoy gustong mag-ala Luis Manzano
Dalawang anak na lalaki ni Sen. Jinggoy Estrada ang naÂngaÂngarap na sundan ang yapak ’di lang ng kanilang ama, bilang artista and, eventually, as politicians as well, kung hindi ng kanilang Lolo Joseph Estrada rin, former actor at presidente ng Pilipinas, and now the incumbent mayor ng Manila. Sila’y sina Jolo at Julian. They both plan to use Estrada as their showbiz surname. Their real surname, of course, is Ejercito.
Jolo, now 20, is in college na. He is taking up entrepreneurship at the Enderun University at The Fort, Taguig City. Balak daw niya balang araw ang magkaroon ng sariling restaurant.
Jolo is featured in an upcoming movie which his father, Sen. Jinggoy top bills, along with Maja Salvador. Directed by Joey Javier Reyes, it will henceforth assume title Ang Seksi Kong Daddy.
Jolo hopes to, in the future, become a TV host like Luis Manzano.
Mother Lily inspirado sa kikitain nina Daniel at Kathryn
Hope ng marami na next year, 2014, maÂging active muli si Mother Lily Monteverde sa pagpo-produce ng pelikula. Which is, likely, she said, kasi inspired siya sa magiging outcome sa takilya ng Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay which she co-produces with Star Cinema.
Pagpag, as we all know is directed by Frasco Mortiz and stars local showbiz most important love team of the hour, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
‘‘I’m impressed with how Pagpag is being promoted,’’ sabi ni Mother Lily. ‘‘Talagang when it comes to promotions walang tatalo sa Star CineÂma. Kung sabagay, napanood ko na ang Pagpag at kumbinsido akong kikita ito. Not only because I produced it with Star Cinema. Kung hindi, bukod sa talagang maganda at nakakatakot ang movie, it’s the only horror-suspense entry in the MMFF this year.â€
Other stars of Pagpag are Shaina Magdayao, Paulo Avelino, Miles Ocampo, CJ Novato, Dominic Roque, at child actor Clarence Delgado.
Speaking of Clarence, it was, no doubt, a busy year for this Goin’ Bulilit mainstay. He is only nine years old.
He was featured in two films this year, Status: It’s Complicated, where he played the pilyong batang kapatid ni Paulo and the ward ni Jake Cuenca.
Nasa cast din siya ng katatapos na i-showing na Call Center Girl, top billed by Pokwang, Jessy Mendiola, John Lapus, Dianne Medina, Aaron Villaflor, at Jestoni Alarcon.
He is featured bilang makulit at pala-kaing nakababatang kapatid nina Toni Gonzaga at Miles Ocampo sa bagong sitcom na Home Sweetie Home which also stars John Lloyd Cruz, Sandy Andolong, Rico J. Puno, at Mitoy Yonting, champ ng katatapos na The Voice of the Philippines.
Asked what he does with all of his earnings, Clarence quickly replied: ‘‘Ibina-bangko po ng Mama ko.’’
For Christmas this year, hangad daw ni Clarence na magkasalu-salo sila ng kanyang pamilya sa media noche na ihahanda ng kanyang ina.
‘‘Masarap siyang magluto (referring to her mom),’’ ani Clarence.
