Jessy Mendiola sikat na sa South Korea

Jessy Mendiola’s upcoming movie with John Lloyd Cruz, Dawn Zulueta, and Richard Gomez will be her first film, unang mainstream din.

Si Jessy ay gaganap na anak ni Pokwang sa soon to be released indie flick na Call Center Girl, directed by Don Cuaresma. Producer ang Skylight Films at ire-release ng Star Cinema.

Ang bida sa kasalukuyang ongoing and top-rating series na Maria Mercedes na si Jessy ay nasa South Korea bilang honorary ambassador sa Korean tourism. Mismong ang Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) ang pumili sa kanya.

Jessy gained popularity in South Korea, particularly Seoul, when she appeared on the Korean Broadcasting (KBS) show World Date with SHINee.  Isa siya sa eight lucky women sa iba’t ibang bansa na naimbitahan para personal na ma-meet ang isa sa pinaka-popular singing group o K-Pop boy band.

Bukod sa ilang local endorsements ni Jessy, siya rin ang endorser dito sa Pilipinas ng isang popular Korean mobile messaging mobile application.

Paulo at Jake maraming itinuro sa child star

Obvious na lalong aangat ang star status ng child actor na si Cla­rence Delgado, who is only 11 years old, after the release of his movie Status: It’s Complicated. There he plays the seemingly sex-oriented younger brother of Paulo Avelino. Thanks to Jake Cuenca, ang best friend ni Paulo at ka-share sa unit ng condo na kanilang inuupahan.

Our condolences to Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto, who had to cut short her family’s vacation in Japan, supposedly to mark her 60th birthday, dahil sa ’di inaasahang pagpanaw ng kanyang biyenan, si Carmen Recto.

Ayon sa balita, Carmen, ang 72-year-old widow of the late politician Raffy Recto, was in Cambodia with her friends nang dumating ang ‘di inaasahang pangyayari.

Tatlo ang kanilang anak na sina Ricky, Ralph (senator husband ni Gov. Vi), at Plinky.

2 Anak nina Aga at charlene malapit nang maging teenagers

A year from now, Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales’ twin children, Atasha and Andres will be turning teenagers.

Sa Nov. 5, 12 years old na ang magkapatid.

By the time this issue comes out, nakauwi na si Charlene at anak na si Atasha sa Pilipinas to celebrate the occasion here.

Atasha and her mom left for the US two weeks ago for a trip to the US.
