Toni gusto agad mag-take two kay Piolo kahit ‘di pa napapalabas ang unang pelikula nila

Remember the TV commercial together nina Pio­lo Pascual at Toni Gonzaga for a softdrink brand na narinig nating sumigaw si Toni ng “I love you, Piolo!” sa kilig?

Well, at that time, ’di pa gaanong sikat silang dala­wa. Nagsisimula pa lamang bilang artista si Piolo, samantalang struggling commercial model pa lamang si Toni.

Ayon pa nga sa singer-actress-TV host, ’di siya ang talagang nakatoka para maging, kumbaga, kapareha ni Piolo in that commercial. Kaso nga lang daw the one originally assigned to it ay di ma-perfect-perfect ang dialogue na “I love you, Piolo!”

Sounding desperate, the casting director ay bumaling sa mga supposed extra sa commercial, kasama na si Toni. Using the megaphone, bi­nalingan niya ang mga ekstra at nagtanong who among them think they could deliver said dialogue in one take.

Nauna si Toni sa nag-volunteer. And, right then and there, she was hired for the role.

But funny daw na nang nag-aartista na siya at lumipat nga sa ABS-CBN from GMA 7 kung bakit ’di man lamang daw siya nagkapalad na makatrabaho si Piolo, mapa-TV man o pelikula, for Star Cinema.

But she was eager to. Which explains why daw when Star Cinema offered her the lead role opposite Piolo in Unlove You, agad pumayag siya.

And, surprisingly daw, first shooting day pa lamang nila for Unlove You ay click na sila.

Kaya, this early din, they assure the public that they have a good movie. Kaya feel din daw nilang dalawa na ’di itong Unlove You, ang magiging una at huli nilang pelikula together.

As is common knowledge, Piolo has this yearly undertaking, the SunPiology Color Run, which aims to raise funds for charity. Now on its fifth year, he is doing the project in partnership with Sun Life and Hebreo Foundation.

The fund drive has, so far, helped raise millions of pesos, thus, enabling them to send poor but deserving scholars to school.

So far, Piolo’s fellow Star Magic talents are supporting him. So, how about Toni kaya including her sister, Alex, taking time to join the fun run as well?

Well, according to Piolo, the 2013 SunPiology Color Run will happen Nov. 23, at the Bonifacio Global City. Registration, in fact, is currently       going on. It will end on Nov. 15.

Enrique namana Ang galing SA pagsayaw kay Dingdong

Do you know na sa tunay na buhay ay magkamag-anak pala sina Dingdong Dantes at Enrique Gil?

No wonder that the two of them have quite a number in common. Bukod, of course, sa pareho silang pogi.

Pareho ring mahusay silang sumayaw. A former member of the dance group, Abztract Dancers, common knowledge na magaling na dancer talaga si Dingdong bago naka-acting.

Enrique is out to prove his dancing prowess when he holds his first own dancing concert, King of the Gil, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum ngayong November.

The cousins are together for the first time in the movie, She’s the One, co-starring them with Bea Alonzo.

She’s the One, directed by Mae Czarina Cruz, opens in theaters nationwide today, Oct. 16.
