Show ni Aga bidang-bida agad

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Wow, bidang-bida, Salve A., si Aga Muhlach sa katatapos na trade launch ng TV5, na ginanap sa NBC Tent sa Taguig City last Wednesday, where all the new programs ng Kapatid Network were presented to advertisers and the entertainment press.

Kabilang na, of course, ang bagong programa ni Aga, the game show, Let’s Ask Pilipinas, a local franchise of the Warner Bros. hit game show in the US, Let’s Ask America.

He will continue hosting Pinoy Explorer, his educational and informative show, also on TV5 which is now nearing its third year.

Let’s Ask Pilipinas will be seen daily, weekdays only.

In any case, nag-sample si Aga how the show will run dahil ang contestants, unlike in other TV game shows, need not go to the studio for the competition. They are allowed to make use of the current existence of modern technology. Meaning, kahit na saang lugar ang contestant, whether in the comfort of their homes or wherever, they can participate via video calls on their computers, tablets, or mobile phones.

The prizes range from P2,000 to half a million. Not bad, sabi nga ni Aga.

Well, sa trade launch, the representatives of the advertising agency they represent were asked to participate sa game show na, kumbaga, sinampol ni Aga. Three of them went home with additional money, bilang prizes, sa pagsali nila sa game show.

To repeat what Aga said: Not bad.

Other new shows ng TV5 to look forward to starting on Oct. 14 include Good Morning Club, which now assigns segment for its hosts, such as Good Morning Grace for Grace Lee; Good Morning Sir for Erwin Tulfo and Martin Andar; Good Morning Girls for Cheryl Cosim, Tuesday Vargas, Twin Macaraig, and Grace Lee; and Good Morning Mom for Christine Bersola-Babao.

Then, the Let’s Face the People, hosted nina Gelli de Belen at Christine Bersola.

Madam Chairman marks Sharon Cuneta’s first time to ever top bill a teleserye. Aired weeknights at 7 p.m., the cast includes Jay Manalo, Ciara Sotto, Bayani Agbayani, Fanny Serrano, and Artista Academy finalists Akihiro Blanco at Shara Mae dela Cruz.

The Gift is one of the three shows that will feature Ogie Alcasid.

The Gift is a drama series with Mike Tuviera directing. His two other shows are The Mega and the Songwriter and a gag show, Tropa Mo Ko Unli.

The others shows are Positive, For Love or Money, Demolition Job, Dayo, and Astig.

And before TV5 calls it a night, there is the Pilipinas News, with Paolo Bediones, Cheryl Cosim, and Jove Francisco reporting the news of the day. News head Luchi Cruz-Valdes follows it up with Reaksiyon and it features naman interviews of different people.

Aiza nakaraos sa concert kahit inatake ng asthma

Did you know that Aiza Seguerra had an attack of asthma the day before her concert with Charice?

Ganun man, the professional that she is, ’di lang naging dahilan ang kanyang pagkakasakit para huwag matuloy ang concert na pinamagatang Power of Two at ginanap sa Smart Araneta Coliseum Saturday.

Halata ang pamamalat ni Aiza while performing her numbers. Ganun man, walang namintas sa mga manonood na sumugod sa concert kahit pa it was raining cats and dogs, to quote Maricel Soriano, who was present bilang special guest ni Aiza.

No doubt na napaka-busy ngayon ni Aiza. She is a mainstay of the top-rated show, Be Careful With My Heart, on ABS-CBN.

In the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, My Little Bossing, she plays Ryzza Mae Dizon’s mom.

My Little Bossing marks the child star’s first movie. Directed by Marlon Rivera, it also includes in the cast Ryzza Mae’s fellow child performer Bimby Yap, Kris Aquino, at Bossing Vic Sotto.

Personal…

Happy birthday to German (“Kuya Germs”) Moreno to you and me who marks his natal day today, Oct. 4.

(Maligayang kaarawan, Kuya Germs! Cheers! – SVA)
