Dingdong hindi pa umuoo kay Anne!

While Dingdong Dantes admits na nakaplano na, kahit papaano, ang gagawin niya for himself and his career in 2013, his mind is still focused on his movie, One More Try, a Star Cinema entry in the ongoing Metro Manila Filmfest (MMFF).

Inaamin ni Dingdong na ang pelikula which originally, he revealed, was not earmarked for the MMFF, took much of his time in this outgoing year. Napaka-challenging daw kasi ng mga cha­racters na ginampanan nila ng kanyang mga co-stars na sina Angel Locsin, Zanjoe Marudo, at Angelica­ Panganiban.

Bukod pa, from the start, ini-announce at ipina-feel na sa kanila ng kanilang direktor na si Ruel Bayani na he wants the movie na mag-excel per se hindi lang sa paningin at panlasa ng mga kritiko, but in terms of box office as well.

Obvious na gustong i-prove ni Direk Ruel na ‘di tsamba ang pagiging box office champ ng una niyang mainstream movie, No Other Woman, na somehow earned also good reviews from the critics.

No Other Woman, if you recall starred Anne Curtis, Cristine Reyes, at Derek Ramsey.

Speaking of Anne, did we hear it right that Viva Films plan to have Dingdong teamed up in a movie with Anne? That’s if he agrees to do a movie with them?

In any case, we asked Dingdong the question of whether he will have history repeats itself for him in this year’s MMFF?

Dingdong was named best actor in last year’s MMFF for the entry, Segunda Mano, which co-starred him with Kris Aquino at Angelica Panganiban. Likewise, the film emerged second top grosser.

Well, to the question, heto ang sagot ni Dingdong: “In every MMFF, the producer na kasali is always after the boxoffice gross ng kanilang pelikula.

“Well, I agree with them. Although, it would be great for my ego kung muli akong manalo ng best actor.

“Iyan din siguro ang hangad ng mga co-stars kong sina Angel, Angelica, at Zanjoe.

Now, of whether kasama sa plano nila ng kanyang girlfriend na si Marian Rivera ang pagpapakasal in 2013, aniya, hindi raw. Although, napag-uusapan daw nila ito paminsan-minsan.

Like him, sa kanyang showbiz career din balak i-focus ni Marian ang sarili sa susunod na taon.

May ginagawa raw movie si Marian with Richard­ Gutierrez, Lady Boss. Magkasama na ang dalawa sa reality show na Extra Challenge, in GMA 7.

Of course rin, nasa plano ni Marian na maging producer ng kanyang movie, which, hopefully, will team up with Ai-Ai de las Alas.

Relasyon nina Luis at Jennylyn wala nang ingay

Kung naging busy this outgoing year si Luis Manzano, he will be as busy in 2013, if not busier.

‘Di pa man nag-e-end ang kanyang reality game show, Deal or No Deal, ABS-CBN had already informed Luis na sa kanya mapupunta ang paghu-host ng bagong game show ng istasyon, Minute to Win It.

Bale ba, he has recently been included in the cast of the top rating series, Be Careful With My Heart, na pinangungunahan nina Jodi Sta. Maria at Richard Yap.

And did we hear it right that in mid-2013, malamang na simulan muli ang third season ng reality show, Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT), which he co-hosts with Billy Crawford?

Despite his busy schedule, though, according to Luis, he is never amiss with whatever is expected sa kanya ng kanyang girlfriend of nearly three years, si Jennylyn Mercado, who, by the way, is equally busy.
