Mariel hindi pa feel maging ina!
Third Christmas together na bilang mag-asawa nina Robin Padilla at Mariel Rodriguez ngayong Pasko. In August pa next year ang dalawa magse-celebrate ng kanilang third year of marriage.
Naririto na, of course, sina Kylie at Ali.
How is it to be married to Robin?
Mariel’s quick reply: ‘‘More than I expected.’’
‘‘I make sure I prepare everything for him. From the food na kinakain niya, bihisan niya, pati pampaligo niya. To say the least, pina-pamper ko siya.
In exchange from all what he is doing to Robin, damang-dama naman niya kung gaano siya nito kamahal.
Inamin ni Mariel na suggestion nga raw sa kanya ni Robin na huwag muna silang magkaanak, so they can focus nga naman on each other muna.
Na sinang-ayunan naman niya kaagad. Feel niya rin kasi, she is not yet ready for motherhood. Kasi nga raw kapag nagkaanak na siya, gusto niya tulad siya ng nakatatandang kapatid niya who is married to one of the sons of former ABS-CBN top honcho Freddie Garcia, na full-time mother to her three kids.
Right now, she feels grateful to Robin for allowing her to continue with her hosting chores with Willie Revillame, Camille Villar, and Grace Lee, among others, sa Wiltime Bigtime, on TV5.
Robin and Mariel treated members of the press, mostly the senior ones, to dinner at their house in Fairview, Quezon City recently. It was their first time to meet with them since they got married.
In any case, during the conversation, nabanggit ni Robin ang pagnanais niyang makabili rin ng loteng located across their house kasi plano raw niyang mag-put up ng housing lalo na sa mga residente sa mababang lugar ng West Fairview, where their house is located, na talagang halos lumutang na raw ang mga bahay sa recent typhoon that hit Metro Manila.
‘‘Robin’s concern for the poor truly amazes me,’’ dugtong pa ni Mariel. “Saludo ako sa kanya talaga.”
