Two new talents in the showbiz block, both good looking and determined to make it, have for a father, Wendell Ramos, 43, a former protégé of starmaker, the late Douglas Quijano.

Well, they are Saviour Ramos, 22, at Tanya Ramos, 15.

It was their dad, they revealed in interviews, who both encouraged them to join showbiz, but they will have to continue with their studies, too, he told them.

“Kasi, ito rin ang pangaral sa akin ni Tito Doug nang hindi raw kami tatanga-tanga kapag ini-interview kami.”

Ricky, nagsimula bilang extra

Walang balak pasukin ni Ricky Davao ang showbiz kahit pa he has a forefather, top character actor, Charlie Davao.

Determined siya instead to become an engineer. At kumukuha siya ng Engineering course sa isang university, malapit sa Escolta.

Sa isang building sa Escolta, where madalas siyang tumambay, marami siyang naging kaibigan nag-aartista.

Before he knew it, lumalabas na rin siyang extra sa showbiz.

Before long, too, nagdidirek na siya.

Arabella Davao, promising actress, is his daughter, na pagkatapos ng Bachelor’s degree sa Ateneo de Manila University.

Cousin niya si Janine Gutierrez, na nag-aartista rin at nagtapos din ng college sa ADMU.

Janine’s dad is Ramon Christopher. Her mom, Lotlot de Leon.

Lolo ni Janine si Eddie Gutierrez. Annabelle Rama, her lola.

Baguhang sexy actress na si denise, bumida agad

Zoren, walang kupas

Zoren Legaspi, at 50, is still good-looking. Trim to the max, tulad noong bata pa siya, na hindi kataka-taka, since one of the handsomest actors in his time ang ama niyang si Lito Legaspi, kapanabayan nina Eddie Gutierrez at Vic Vargas.

Seventy-seven lang si Lito ng binawian ng buhay in 2019 due to cardiac arrest.

May bagong project si Zoren with no less than Laurice Guillen at the helm. Ito ‘yong Apoy Sa Langit, where he is reunited with Maricel Laxa, na dating nakakasama niya sa pelikula ng Regal Films.

Both Zoren at Maricel are happily married.

Si Zoren sa aktres na si Carmina Villarroel, si Maricel sa business consultant na si Anthony Pangilinan.

Direk Laurice’s late husband was actor Johnny Delgado, who died in 2009.
