Makasisira ng barriers sa EDSA pagmumultahin

MANILA, Philippines — “A concrete barrier costs P6,900, and the driver responsible for its destruction is required to pay it”.

Ito ang sinabi ni  Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) spokesperson Celin Pialago na pagmumultahin nila ang sinumang makasisira ng bagong barriers sa kahabaan ng EDSA.

Ayon pa kay Pialago, ang kaunting pinsala ay pagmumultahin naman ng P500 para sa pagsasaayos nito.

Dagdag pa nito na ginagawa lamang alibi ng mga motorista ang pagkakaroon ng mga disgrasya sa daan dahil sa barriers.

“If only they will follow the speed limit, there will be no problem. Also, they should not be driving while they are under the influence of alcohol,” aniya.
