BPC si Perez; Best Import si Williams

MANILA, Philippines — Wagi si CJ Perez ng San Miguel Beer bilang Best Player of the Confe­rence, habang hinirang na Best Import si Johnathan Williams III ng Phoenix Super LPG sa awarding ceremony kagabi bago ang Game 4 ng PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Humakot ng 1055 na points si Perez mula sa stats, media at players upang madaig sina Christian Standhardinger (777) ng Barangay Ginebra, Arvin Tolentino ng San NorthPort (559), Calvin Oftana (472) ng TNT at Scottie Thompson (446) ng Ginebra.

Nagrehistro si Perez ng 16.45 points, 7.09 re­bounds at 3.82 assists upang maging best player ng unang conference nga­yong Season 48.

Malaki ang naging ambag ni Perez sa kampanya ng Beermen na sumakay sa 11-game winning streak papasok sa finals bago ma­wakasan ito ng Magnolia, 88-80, sa Game 3 ng idinaraos na best-of-seven championship series.

Pumangalawa si Tyler Bey (908) ng Magnolia.
