PSL hahanap ng tankers para sa international meets
MANILA, Philippines — Muling hahanap ang Philippine Swimming League (PSL) ng mga swimmers na isasabak sa mga international competitions sa pagdaraos ng PSL Champions League Long Course Swim Series Leg 1 sa Agosto 27 sa Amoranto Sports Complex.
Idaraos ang torneo bilang pag-alala kay dating PSL president Susan Papa na magdaraos ng kaarawan sa Agosto 24.
Nais ni PSL president Alex Papa na ipagpatuloy ang grassroots development program na nasimulan ni Coach Susan mahigit isang dekada na ang nakalilipas.
“We will be staging this tournament to remember and continue the legacy of my sister Coach Susan. It’s her goal to inspire young swimmers and develop them for future international competitions,” ani Papa.
Ang torneo ay magsisilbing qualifying tournament para makapili ng mga swimmers na ipadadala sa mga international tournament partikular na sa Bangkok, Thailand sa huling bahagi ng taon.
“This competition is open to all. We are not requiring a membership just to be part of the team for our international competitions. As long as you meet the standards and you are willing to represent our country, you are in,” dagdag ni Papa.
Gagawaran ng Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) trophy ang mga mangunguna sa bawat kategorya — sa Class A, Class B, Class C at Novice Division.
Bibigyan naman ng medalya ang Top 3 tankers sa bawat event.
