“We take things on a per day basis. We work hard in practice, and hopefully, we’re able to bring those things out during the games,” sabi ni rookie coach Juno Sauler sa kanyang Green Archers.

Muling pangungunahan nina Jeron Teng, LA Revilla, Norbert Torres, Almond Vosotros, Jason Perkins at Arnold Van Opstal ang Green Archers katapat sina 2013 Most Valuable Player Terrence Romeo, RR Garcia, Mike Tolomia, Anthony Hargrove, Carl Bryan Cruz at Roger Pogoy ng Tamaraws.

Tinalo ng FEU ang La Salle sa first round, 83-79, habang rumesbak naman ang Taft-based school mula sa kanilang 75-66 panalo sa second round.

“We are satisfied, but I’m not saying na nandoon na kami sa level na gusto namin,” ani mentor Nash Racela sa Tamaraws. “We are still working on a lot of things. We are hoping that, by Final Four, napasok na namin ang kailangan namin.”
