Superliga opening dadaluhan ng AVC official

MANILA, Philippines - Sa paniniwala sa pag-usbong ng volleyball sa bansa, mismong si Shanrit Wongprasert, ang Executive Vice president ng  Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) para sa Southeast Asian Zone, ang magiging panauhin sa paglulunsad ng Philippine Superliga (PSL), ang unang volleyball club league sa bansa.

Ang pagdalo ni Wongprasert ang magdadagdag ng kinang sa grand launch ng PSL sa Hulyo 4 sa 7th High sa Bonifacio Global City na katatampukan din ng sports fashion show ng mga volleyball players.

Nakatakda ang press conference sa Hulyo 5 sa Wack Wack Golf and Country Club clubhouse, habang ang grand opening ay sa Hulyo 7 sa Philsports Arena sa ganap na ala-1 ng hapon.

“The PSL will be honored by the presence of Mr. Wongprasert, one of the architects of volleyball’s rise in Thailand as president of Thailand Volleyball Association,” sabi ni Ramon ‘Tats’ Suzara, ang PSL president at chairman ng AVC Development and Marketing Committee. “It is the first time in the sport’s recent history that a high ranking regional official of volleyball will visit the country.”

Nagkumpirma ng kanilang paglahok sa PSL  ang Cygnal, Petron, PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone), Cagayan Valley, PCSO-Bingo Milyonaryo at ang Philippine Army.
