MANILA, Philippines - Ipinormalisa ng Mapua Institute of Technology contract ang pagtatalaga kay Atoy Co sa pamamagitan ng pagpirma ng kontrata kamakailan sa Intramuros campus sa pangunguna ni Mapua president at CEO Dr. Reynaldo B. Vea kasama ang ilang school officials at miyembro ng Cardinals basketball team.
“Atoy is one of the Philippines’ greatest basketball players and he is a former Cardinal. He will certainly bring excitement to Mapua Cardinals as well as the entire Mapua community, including our legion of alumni who have followed him play professionally through the years,†sabi ni Dr. Vea.
Tinanong si Co, kabilang sa 25 greatest players ng PBA, kung ano ang kanyang plano sa paparating na National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), sagot niya, “We will do our best. What I would want is to see my team fighting up to the end. Hopefully in three years we will be playing for the championship. This year, my dream is to get into the Top 4. That would be a big achievement for the team, for me and for everybody.
