WASHINGTON -- Wala pang katiyakan kung kailan makakabalik si Washington Wizards point guard John Wall mula sa stress injury sa kanyang kaliwang knee cap.
Ito ang sinabi ni coach Randy Wittman sa No. 1 overall pick ng 2010 draft.
Hindi pa naglalaro si Wall ngayong season at hindi rin nakakasama sa team practices ng Wizards na may franchise-worst 0-12 at nagdadala ng 3-16 record sa pagharap sa bisitang Los Angeles Lakers.
Muling ineksamin si Wall sa New York ni Dr. David Altchek.
Sinabi ni Altchek na maganda na ang kondisyon ni Wall bagamat may nararamdamang iritasyon sa kanyang kaliwang tuhod.
“He will continue to be evaluated on an ongoing basis,” wika ni Altchek sa isang statement na inilabas ng Wizards.
Inihayag ng Wizards ang injury ni Wall noong Setyembre 28 at inestimang hindi ito makakalaro sa loob ng dalawang buwan.
“The doctor saw improvement, and the shot he got, after a couple days here of letting that take its effect, he can ramp things up again,” ani Wittman. “He’s got to get back out now and get on the floor. Not practice, not contact yet. We have to see how he responds to his activity as it’s ramped up.”
Sa 2011-12 season, nagtala si Wall ng mga averages na 16.3 points at 8.0 assists.
