Vivoree, may nilabas?

MANILA, Philippines — Inilunsad ng aktres at singer na si Vivoree ang bagong extended play (EP) na movie made for me na hango sa kanyang mga pangarap at kwento ng pag-ibig.

 Ibinahagi ni Vivoree sa carrier track na movie made for me ang pagiging matatag sa gitna ng pagsubok at pag-abot sa kanyang mga pangarap. Isinulat ito ni Dana Balagtas at iprinodyus ni Ashley Aunor.

 Tampok din sa EP na handog ng Star Music ang bagong awitin na IDLYLT at iba pang awitin tulad ng Matapang, Dalawang Isip at Sayaw Ng Mga Tala na inilabas nitong nakaraang taon.

 Nagsimula ang musical journey ni Vivoree nang inilabas niya ang unang single na Kaya Pa na isinulat niya noong 2016. Nakasama niya rin ang dating Hashtag member na si Charles Kieron para sa kanilang digital album na CK & Vivoree noong 2019 at inawit niya rin ang He’s Into Her soundtrack na Did I Let You Go kasama si Jon Guelas.

 Unang nakilala si Vivoree bilang dating housemate sa Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 noong 2016. Ipinamalas niya rin ang husay sa pag-arte nang bumida siya sa iba’t ibang serye tulad ng He’s Into Her, Can’t Buy Me Love, The Iron Heart, Tara, G! Naging bahagi rin siya ng Tabing Ilog Musical bilang Eds na magkakaroon ng re-run simula Nobyembre hanggang Disyembre.

FDCP, magiging abala sa PFIM

Malaking event ang magaganap sa pagdiriwang ng Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM) 2024 sa pangunguna ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) ngayong September.

Isa nga raw itong unforgettable tribute to the nation’s cinematic heritage, with the theme ‘Tuloy ang Tradisyon ng Pelikulang Pilipino,’ honoring the legacies of National Artists for Film, kasabay ng pag-aalala sa 100th birth anniversary ni Eddie Romero.

Narito ang calendar of activities for the Philippine Film Industry Month 2024: Sept. 1 - PFIM Opening Ceremony at the Metropolitan Theater - Ang Philippine Film Industry Month ay magsisimula sa isang special screening ng 1980 period drama film ni Eddie Romero na Aguila at isang mini-exhibit para kay Eddie Romero sa makasaysayang Metropolitan Theater.

Layunin ng FDCP na bigyang-pugay ang cinematic legacy ni Mr. Romero na patuloy na nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa mga contempory filmmakers and audience.

Ang event is in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Metropolitan Theater with the support of FPJ Productions.

Ang Sept. 4-27 - Pamanang Pelikula: Honoring the Masterpieces of National Film Legends at FDCP Cinematheque Centres

The FDCP will present classic films by National Artists at Cinematheque Centres in Manila, Iloilo, Negros, Davao, and Nabunturan, with accompanying talkbacks. On Sept. 4, Cinematheque Centre Manila will host an exhibit and screening of canonical works that significantly contributed to Philippine cinema.

The films to be screened at Cinematheque Centres nationwide are:

 Aguila directed by Eddie Romero;  Anak Dalita by Lamberto Avellana;  Ang Panday directed by Fernando Poe, Jr.; Bulaklak ng City Jail directed by Mario O’Hara and top-billed by Nora Aunor; Genghis Khan by Manuel Conde; Karnal directed by Marilou Diaz-Abaya and written by Ricky Lee; Manila by Night directed by Ishmael Bernal; Maynila sa mga Kuko ng Liwanag directed by Lino Brocka; Moises Padilla Story directed by Gerry de Leon; Perfumed Nightmares directed by Kidlat Tahimik; Sept. 13 - PFIM Gala Night at the Teatrino Promenade; Sept. 14 - Films for Peace Opening at Intramuros Centro de Turismo.

Magkakaroon din ng official launching ang Films for Peace on Sept.14 along with a special screening of Mario O’Hara’s Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos. Films for Peace recognizes film as a powerful tool to promote conflict resolution, cultural dialogue, and social justice.

The Films for Peace lineup features Marilou Diaz-Abaya’s Bagong Buwan, Sheron Dayoc’s Women of the Weeping River, and Mario O’Hara’s Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos, screening nationwide at Cinematheque Centres.

On Sept.15, Cinematheque Centre Nabunturan will host a panel with Mindanaoan filmmakers and a screening of Kip Oebanda’s Liway, focusing on cinema’s role in promoting conflict resolution and social cohesion.

Sept. 17-18 - Film Education Convention (FilmEC) at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde habang sa Sept. 18-24 - PFIM x PCIM: Sine50: Pelikula ng Bayan Screenings and Film Talks at Trinoma, SM Southmall, Robinsons Galleria, and Cinematheque Centres

A joint celebration of PFIM and the Philippine Creative Industries Month (PCIM), Pelikula ng Bayan showcases regional films from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, celebrating Philippine cinema as a unified national treasure. In partnership with CEAP, selected films will screen at cinemas for only PHP 50.

 Sept. 27 - PFIM Closing Ceremony at Seda Vertis North - Ang FDCP will conclude the 4th Philippine Film Industry Month with a closing ceremony honoring contributors to Philippine cinema.
