“Thank you for your love, for never giving up on me and us, for your patience, encouragement, for making me laugh, for everything. I would marry you all over again and I’m so ready for the next 15 and beyond. I love you soooo much and I miss you,” caption ni Jaya sa Instagram.
Kuwento niya sa New York Times: “The soldiers patrol the city every day and sometimes they set up roadblocks to harass the people coming through. In some cases, they fire without hesitation. We are scared of our own soldiers. Whenever we see one, all we feel is anger and fear. Thousands have been arrested and violence increased as security forces used water cannons, rubber bullets, and live ammunition to disperse protesters. Over 300 individuals have reportedly been killed and the youngest victim was a seven-year-old little girl.”
Dagdag pa niya: “Our people are dying and being shot by the military every day. I would like to urge everyone to speak about Myanmar. As Miss Universe Myanmar since the coup, I have been speaking out as much as I can.”
Demi, umaming ‘non-binary’
Sa launch ng podcast na 4D with Demi Lovato, ni-reveal ng singer na she now identifies herself as non-binary, meaning that she is either masculine or feminine.
“Over the past year and a half, I’ve been doing some healing and self-reflective work. And through this work, I’ve had the revelation that I identify as non-binary. With that said, I’ll officially be changing my pronouns to they/them. I feel that this best represents the fluidity I feel in my gender expression and allows me to feel most authentic and true to the person I both know I am, and still am discovering. I want to make it clear that I’m still learning and coming into myself and I don’t claim to be an expert or spokesperson.”
Noong nakaraang March, nag-open up si Lovato on being pansexual or has sexual or romantic attraction to people regardless of gender.
