Nagpadala ng congratulations message ang Hollywood film director na si James Cameron sa producers ng Avengers: Endgame na Marvel Studios at Kevin Feige. Nalampasan na nga ng Endgame ang box-office gross ng pelikula niyang Titanic after 22 years.
Nalagpasan na ng Endgame ang record na itinala ng Titanic na $2.187 billion.
Nagbiro pa si Cameron na ang Avengers lang pala ang muling magpapalubog sa Titanic.

Ang sunod na babasagin na record ng Endgame ay ang 2009 film na Avatar na gawa rin ni Cameron.
Bukod sa pagiging second highest grossing film of all time ng Endgame, positive ang reviews na nakuha nito mula sa mga film critics.

Isa sa hindi malilimutan ng ‘80s singer na si Gino Padilla sa kanyang naging musical career ay ang pagkakataon na makatrabaho ng malapitan ang music legend na si Tina Turner.
Nakasama ni Gino si Tina noong gawin nila ang Pepsi TV commercial noong 1986 na kinunan sa Hollywood. 22 years old lang daw si Gino noong time na iyon at nagsisimula pa lang siya sa kanyang singing career. Masuwerte na siya ang napili ng Pepsi para gawin ang Philippine version ng naturang softdrink commercial.
“I was very lucky that time. Kasi sa rami ng puwedeng pagpilian, ako ‘yung pinadala ng Pepsi to shoot that TVC with Tina Turner.
“I was so excited because Tina was one of the biggest female artist of the era. And I was such a big fan.
“We shot the TVC for one week. Iba-iba ‘yung ginawa namin. I recorded the song separately from Tina. They also taught us the choreography onstage. Then I was groomed and had a fitting for the clothes I was going to wear. I was billeted in one of the 5-star hotels in Los Angeles.
“I met Tina on the day of the shoot ng commercial sa isang malaking studio. She came in na kasama ang maraming tao, but she was very nice. The producers gave us like 15 minutes to talk and get to know one another. She was happy to know that I was Filipino. She was able to do a concert before in the Philippines back in the ‘60s when she was still together with her ex-husband Ike Turner. She remembered how beautiful our country was and how the Filipinos are always smiling,” pag-alala pa ni Gino.
Isa lang si Tina Turner sa naging magandang naganap sa career ni Gino na nagkaroon ng mga big hits noong ‘80s tulad ng Closer You and I, Let The Love Begin at Gusto Kita.
Muling maririnig ang mga awitin na yan from Gino sa nalalapit na Into The ‘80s concert sa Theater @ Solaire on May 18. Makakasama rito ni Gino sina Raymond Lauchengco, Lou Bonnevie, Jett Pangan and Jam Morales
Migo ilang beses nang gustong layasan ang showbiz
Inamin ng Sahaya star na si Migo Adecer na muntik na pala siyang bumalik sa Australia dahil sobra siyang nalulungkot dito sa Pilipinas.
Noong manalo si Migo bilang StarStruck 6 Ultimate Male Survivor noong 2016 nabigyan kaagad siya ng unang show niya sa GMA-7 na Encantadia. Pero after a year na matapos ang show ay nahirapan pa rin na mag-adjust ang Fil-Aussie na mag-isa siya rito sa Pilipinas.
“The StarStruck period was quite a difficult period for me, I was alone. That was a really big test in my endurance and how much stress my mentality can take just to push forward.
“Medyo rocky ‘yung start kasi for that two years my parents were here. Sakto that they were here because I felt like I was really under prepared when they gave me Encantadia straight away.
“For a while, it kind of sent me to a downward spiral. I thought, ‘Should I go home back to Australia and just give it up?’ But I hate leaving a reason to say ‘what if.’
“So I said, ‘Okay, I’m going to stay here for a couple more years’ and I did,” pag-amin ni Migo.
Noong dumating ang pinakamabigat na problema sa kanyang buhay, iyon ay ang maranasan niyang makulong dahil sa kanyang reckless driving, muli niyang naisip na umuwi ng Australia. Pero dahil gusto niyang mapanindigan ang kanyang mga naging kasalanan, hinarap niya ang mga ito at naging maayos na ang lahat para sa career niya.
Ngayon ay magagandang reviews ang natatanggap niya sa role niya bilang Jordan sa teleserye na Sahaya. Magaling na siyang mag-Tagalog at may lalim na ang pag-arte niya dahil sa mga pinagdaanan niyang mga personal na problema.
“Through that, I was able to work harder, learn the language a little bit better, and soon enough, the blessings started coming in.
“I think GMA just wanted to see me want it bad enough, just to see that there was a hunger. They have been very patient with me, and I thank the network for that,” pagtapos pa ni Migo Adecer.
