Janella at Elmo, handa na sa 2016!
Wish namin na magkaroon pa sana ng magagandang series na mai-produce ang Dreamscape Entertainment, headed by Deo Edrinal, this coming New Year.
As it is kasi, feel namin, it’s just a matter of time bago mag-ending ang tatlo sa series nilang tinutukan namin, if we have the time, ha.
Doble Kara, starring Julia Montes in the title dual role; Ang Probinsyano, topbilled by Coco Martin and On the Wings of Love, starring the loveable tandem nina James Reid at Nadine Lustre.
We know, of course, na kasalukuyan na nilang pini-prepare ang series na Born To Love which will mark the first team-up nina Janella Salvador at Elmo Magalona.
Cong.
And obviously, authority on beauty si Cong. Martin, considering that he is married to a former beauty queen, Yedda Marie Kittistvedt, who reigned as Bb. Pilipinas-International in 1996.
Actually, maraming magagandang babae in Cong. Martin’s family.
His auntie, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, was former Miss Manila. Ang pinsan naman niyang si Margarita Romualdez was a beauty queen, too.
And, of course, Kring Kring Gonzales, wife of his cousin, Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez, was one of the most beautiful faces as an actress in her time.
Handsome enough to be an actor, hindi raw pumasok sa isipan ni Cong. Martin ang pumasok sa pelikula. Although, best friend daw niya si Senator Bong Revilla, who looks up to him as a true friend.
He (Cong. Martin) constantly visits him daw sa PNP Custodial Center.
It was Senator Bong and his wife, Bacoor Congresswoman Lani Mercado, who advised him to meet with the entertainment media, na puwede nga namang makatulong sa hangarin niyang makapaglingkod sa bawa’t Pilipino bilang Senador.
“And am I glad, I followed their advice,” ani Cong Martin, who met with the entertainment media Tuesday this last week.
“I hope to meet with them again. And, henceforth, whenever we all have the time,” pahayag pa ni Cong. Martin.
In her showbiz days, Pia used the surname Romero, since ang hirap nga namang tandaan ang surname niyang Wurtzbach.
She couldn’t use din naman her Mom’s surname, Alonzo since gamit na ito ni Bea Alonzo.
Thrice na sumali si Pia sa Bb. Pilipinas Universe contest. Sa unang dalawang pagsali niya, sablay siya. Bagama’t nagiging runner-up din naman siya.
Sa pangatlong pagsali niya, that’s when finally she emerged winner of the title Bb. Pilipinas-Universe.
Na, of course, naging daan para maging pangatlong Miss Universe siya ng Pilipinas.
Our first Pilipina Miss Universe was of course, Gloria Diaz (1969).
Pumangalawa si Margie Moran (1973).
Just asking: How true na type ni Pia na magbalik-showbiz after her reign as Miss Universe is over?
By then, Pia would be 27 years old.
