Wow, Salve A., mukhang important dates both ang December 4 and 5 in the local concert scene.
These are the dates when three giants in the local music scene ay sabay-sabay na magkakaroon ng concert. In different venues, though.
Sarah Geronimo will have her performance, on the said dates, at the Araneta Coliseum. On the same dates din ang first music collaboration nina Lani Misalucha at Arnel Pineda na parehong kilala sa mga performances abroad.
The Lani-Arnel concert will be held naman sa Theater ng Solaire Resort and Casino.
Well, for those who don’t want to miss both concerts, why not watch them both? That is, if you can afford din lang the ticket price for both.
At the presscon for Sarah’s concert, siya rin daw mismo ay nabigla sa desisyon ng Viva Live na gawing two nights ang kanyang concert na From The Top. Ang alam daw kasi niya, it will be staged for one night lang, December 4.
But as a Viva Live insider said, sila rin daw ay nalula sa lakas ng benta ng mga tiket. Hence, their decision to stage a second From The Top concert - December 5 naman.
For this particular concert of hers, according to Sarah, she will perform songs mostly ‘‘kanya’’ lang. Meaning +songs, which she recorded or were written and composed for her lang.
Hindi pa tiyak ni Sarah kung sinu-sino ang magiging mga special guest performers niya.
From The Top will have Paolo Valenciano directing and Louie Ocampo as musical director.
GMA 7 ayaw nang ibenta dahil sa lakas ng AlDub
Hindi raw for sale, Salve A., ang GMA 7.
Mismong ang chairman at chief executive officer (CEO) ng Network, si Mr. Felipe Gozon, ang diumano’y may sabi nito, according to newspapers report.
Although, inamin din niyang may mga offer nga silang natanggap to buy the Network. Kabilang na ang San Miguel Corporation mogul na si Ramon Ang, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company boss na si Manny V. Pangilinan, at ang pinaka-latest nga raw ay from boxing champ Manny Pacquiao with politician Chavit Singson.
Malaki raw ang pag-asang kikita ng more than P2 billion this year ang GMA 7.
Thanks daw to the Kalyeserye ng Eat Bulaga, which has reportedly become a phenomenon of sorts.
Susan galante sa mga kaibigan
Movie queen Susan Roces hosted last Thursday a despedida party for former entertainment writer Baby K. Jimenez, who is now a resident of Canada.
Dumating sa okasyon ang ilang close friends of both Susan and Baby.
Baby, who has remained close to Susan and Charo Santos-Cancio, President and CEO of ABS-CBN, came home to attend the birthday celebration of Charo, who turned 60 years old.
BKJ left for home, she said, Friday.
Advance happy birthday
Turning 60, too, this month is Malou Fagar, executive of APT Entertainment Productions, which produces Eat Bulaga.
In celebration of her turning official senior citizens, magkakaroon ng party si Malou at an undisclosed events place on November 21.
Well, happy birthday in advance, Malou. (Advance happy birthday tita Malou. – SVA)
