It’s likely na ‘di mapapanood sa isang movie together ang magkasintahang sina John Lloyd Cruz at Angelica Panganiban. O, kahit pa sa isang series kaya.
The two obviously made a pact na huwag magtrabahong magkasama.
Mabuti na lang, both are doing well individually. While Angelica is only kept busy with her gag shows, Banana Nite and Banana Split Extra Scoop, John Lloyd is doing the sitcom, Home Sweetie Home, weekly, with Toni Gonzaga and a new movie, The Trial, with Jessy Mendiola, Gretchen Barretto, at Richard Gomez.
Directing the flick is Chito Roño.
John Lloyd and Angelica just returned from a trip in an Asian country, bilang advance birthday celebration ng una sa June 24.
Vic isa na lang ang bossing
Speaking of Direk Chito, sa kanya rin in-entrust ni Kris Aquino ang pagdirek ng kanyang first suspense horror flick with Coco Martin.
Titled Feng Shui 2, it is an entry sa Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) this year.
Matatandaang it was also Direk Chito, who directed Kris sa first Feng Shui movie, which Star Cinema produced.
Feng Shui is not the only horror suspense flick earmarked for the MMFF 2014. There is also Shake Rattle and Roll 14, which Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez will topbill.
And did we hear it right that Dingdong Dantes will likewise star in a horror-suspense-action-comedy flick, titled Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles?
Erik Matti, who directed the first Tiktik… will again be at the helm. It was Dingdong’s Agosto 2 Productions and Reality Entertainment na nag-produce ng unang Tiktik: The Aswang…
This film, we heard, will be shot entirely on green screen.
Now finally Vic Sotto and Ryzza Mae’s entry in the MMFF for this year will be titled My Big Bossing’s Adventures.
Maalalang last year, Bossing Vic and Ryzza Mae teamed up with Kris Aquino and her son, Bimby Aquino-Yap, titled My Little Bossings.
Tinanghal na MMFF top grosser ang nabanggit na pelikula noong nakaraang taon.
Bimby will himself have an entry sa MMFF ngayong taon. The UnÂkabogable Private Benjamin, co-starring him naman with Vice Ganda.
Robin at BB hindi pa rin magkakasama sa isang pelikula
Contrary sa inaasahan, Robin Padilla and his brother, a sister nga pala, BB Gandanghari will not be starring together in a movie na pang-MMFF this year. They will each have their own entry.
Ang kay BB, we heard, is Double Tap Films’ Bonggagster, while si RoÂbin naman ang gaganap na title role sa pelikulang Bonifacio ng Philippines Productions.
For his leading lady, Robin will have Iza Calzado.
Do you know that newly-wed Boots Anson-Roa (yes, ito pa rin ang gaÂgamitin niyang screen name), ay may entry, if ever din sa MMFF this year?
Titled Hanap Mo Ay Ligaya, singer Ronnie Liang is Boots co-star.
All in all daw, 13 films have been submitted to the MMFF committee, kung saan pipili ng walang official entries.
The MMFF is now on its 40th year.
