Kim hindi na mabilang ang datung dahil sa PBB

No one can argue, Salve A., that among the naging boarders ni Kuya in the first edition of the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition, the most successful na eventually ay nag-join sa showbiz ay si Kim Chiu.

Of course, may ilan ding naka-graduate, kumbaga, sa ibang edition ng PBB, the original edition at pang-adults, na nag-showbiz din. Tulad nang dalawang kilalang komedyante ngayon na sina Jayson Gainza at Ryan Bang.

So are Zanjoe Marudo and Sam Milby. Plus of course, Melai and Jason.

Yeng Constantino is somehow, too, the most successful ‘graduate’ among her fellow PBB Celebrity Edition contests. But still, popularity wise, puwedeng sabihin na she cannot hold a candle to Kim.

Kim has the most endorsements among all PBB graduates at hindi nauubusan ng assignments mapa-film o TV man.

Kim has two successful films na parehong ini-release late and early this year, Bakit ‘Di Ka Crush ng Crush Mo? at Bride for Rent. She had newcomer Xian Lim for her leading man in both films.

Emerging second runner-up to Kim in the first PBB Teenage edition si Gerald Anderson, who has himself joined showbiz.

Mikee Lee, though, whom was proclaimed first runner-up to Kim chose to finish his studies and now works for a multinational firm. He holds office abroad.

Natalo ni Ejay Falcon si Robi Domingo as champ of the PBB Teen, second edition.

While Ejay has proven successful sa films and teleserye, isang fast rising TV host naman si Robi.

Together with Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzales, John Prats, at Alex Gonzaga, will host the new season of the PBB, set to start on Sunday, April 27.

â€œI wish all the contestants happy moments inside Kuya’s house,” ani Kim.

Her advise to them: “Enjoy lang the experience. Which is what I did.

â€œI didn’t expect to win. Kaya, sobrang excitement ang aking naramdaman when finally I was proclaimed winner.”

â€œI-aadmit ko that all the luxury I now enjoy and which I share with my family, I owe it to showbiz. Not to say the PBB.” Kim further stated.

Kim who turned 23 on her birthday lady April 19, recalled na labinlimang taong lang siya when she joined the reality show (PBB) and won.

She was a high school student in Cebu. With some classmates, who was eager to watch the ongoing audition, wala sa isip niya na makisali sa mga nag-audition.

It was her classmates who dared her to participate.

The rest, kumbaga, is history.

Kahit pa, Kim reveals ‘di pawang saya ang kanyang naranasan, wika nga, “climb” to where she is now, wala siyang regrets, she said.

“Naisip ko kasing, kahit siguro ‘di ako naging artista, posibleng mararanasan ko rin ang mga ito. Bagama’t marahil sa ibang paraan.

“So what I do is learn from every mistake I commit at bumangon sa bawat pagkakataong nadadapa ako.

“I’m glad I have my siblings to support me. And, of course, my fans and higit sa lahat sina Ma’am Mariole Alberto and Direk Johnny Manahan (both head of Star Magic, discovery and talent arm ng ABS-CBN, kung saan siya may kontrata).
