Apart from this, she was the apple of the eye ni Dingdong Dantes who, at that time, was himself a promising newcomer.

Now, of course, we all know kung sino na ang ‘‘one and only” ni Dingdong. Obvious that the distance between them, Antoinette in America, and Dingdong remaining in the country, did not do the two of them well.

Ang layo na ng narating ni Dingdong, bilang actor, producer, and businessman.

Which cannot be said of Antoinette, which, we heard, tried the Hollywood scene.

Solenn Heussaff, definitely, will now play lea­ding lady to Vhong Navarro in the horror-suspense flick, tentatively entitled Da Possessed.

Directed by Joyce Bernal, producer Star Cine­ma originally handpicked Angel Locsin to play Vhong’s partner.

‘‘But she had to be pulled out,’’ Direk Joyce said, ‘‘dahil Tita Malou (Santos, managing director ng Star Cinema) wanted her to focus on her role in the series, The Legal Wife, where she plays the title role.
