Well, sa katatapos na presscon ng Bride for Rent, staring Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, direk Mae Czarina Cruz, the film’s director, announced that she is getting married this year with a former classmate. Her groom to be, Direk Mae announced, is diborsyado.
Former classmate rin ang muling nagpatibok ng puso ng fellow blockbuster director ni Direk Mae, ang widow na si Direk Cathy Molina.
Direk Cathy has been widowed from her husband na dating employee ng engineering department ng DZMM at ABS-CBN. Dalawa ang kanilang naging anak.
Idagdag pa sa listahan si Camille Prats, whose husband, the late Anthony Linsangan, died of cancer two years ago. May isa silang anak, ang five year-old na si Nathan.
According to Camille, tanggap na ng kanyang anak as a second dad ang fiancé na si John Yambao which is based in the U.S. and former classmate in elementary ng aktres.
Ang problema, though willing nang pakasalan si Camille anytime soon, naniniwala si Camille at ang kanyang pamilya sa kaugaliang Pilipino na masamang magsabay na magpakasal ang magkapatid on the same year.
Eh, ‘di ba nga may plano ang older brother ni Camille na si John Prats na pakasalan na this year ang girlfriend na si Isabel Oli?
Tulad ni Camille, si Isabel ay Kapuso, while John’s with ABS CBN.
March brides na sina Karylle at Miriam, handang-handa nang mag-I do
Parehong March this year itinakda nina Karylle at Miriam Quiambao ang kanilang pakikipag-isang dibdib with their respective husbands-to-be; si Karylle sa band leader and a fellow Atenistang, si Yael Yuson, at si Miriam naman kay Ardy Roberto, CEO and founder of Salt and Pepper.
While it’s Karylle’s first try at marriage, para kay Miriam naman it’s her second time around.
Miriam, a former Miss Universe runner-up, was first married to an Italian.
Naghiwalay sila after two years ng pagsasama sa Hong Kong.
Sa May naman nakatakdang ikasal si Jericho Rosales sa kanyang AustraÂlian girlfriend na si Kim Jones. The following month, June naman ikakasal ang balo ng dating TV host na si Pete Roa, kay Atty. King Rodrigo.
