Wonder Salve A., kung serious si Alessan­dra de Rossi na sumigaw-sigaw nang i-announce ang pangalan ni Angelica Panganiban bilang winner ng best actress trophy for her performance sa Alamat ni China Doll, sa katatapos ng awards ceremony ng Cinema Originals 2013 Awards Night.

The event was held at the Dolphy Theater Saturday.

For the said award, only Angelica and Alessandra were the nominees. Si Alessandra naman for her movie Woman of the Ruins.

In Alamat ni China Doll, Angelica plays a 27-year-old girl who is about to graduate from high school and start a new life. But her dreams and aspirations were ruined when a journalist (played by Cesar Montano) exposed her past.

In Woman of the Ruins, Alessandra plays a woman found washed up on the shore. Suffering from amnesia, the villagers made her assume the identity of a woman resident of the village, who has long been missing.

Directed by Adolf Alix, Jr., Alamat ni China Doll co-stars Angelica, aside from Cesar, Phillip Salvador, Cherry Pie Picache, Bembol Roco, and many more.

Woman of the Ruins is directed by Keith Sicat and also star Art Acuña, Elizabeth Oropesa, and Peque Gallaga.

 If Amy Perez was warmly welcomed sa kanyang desisyon to go back bilang Kapamilya, will the same kind of treatment be accorded kay Mariel Rodriguez who, we heard, is signing up anew with ABS-CBN?

Tulong Na, Tabang Na... concert nakalikom ng higit P50M sa telethon

ABS-CBN’s all-star concert at the Smart Ara­neta Coliseum last Saturday was no doubt star-studded, mostly with Kapamilya stars. Kahit na ang big bosses ng network were present. Yes, from Gabby Lopez, Charo Santos-Concio, Cory Vidanes, to Direk Laurenti Dyogi, etc.

Obvious that if you were not at the concert, you simply don’t count.

Everyone was given ng kanyang share of duties, kumbaga. Kung hindi performer ang talent, nagho-host ito.

O, ’di kaya, kasama sa lineup ng celebrities assigned to entertain donors sa telethon which was simultaneously being held along with the concert.

Did we hear it right that the donations from the donor callers, a number of which ay from abroad pa, amounted to more than a whooping P50M? All reportedly in less than four hours.

It was apparent as well na karamihan sa mga audience sa concert ay young crowd. At magaganda sila. And it was nice na mapapanood ang audience, all wearing the Tulong Na, Tabang Na, Tayo Na,      T-shirts.

Well, kung sino man ang artist na nakaisip ng design ng logo ng T-shirt should be congratulated.
