Jodi abalang-abala sa kasal

The failure of her first marriage to Pampi Lacson, father of her five year-old son, Thirdy, ay hindi raw dahilan para kay Jodi Sta. Maria, para hindi mangarap siyang makasal muli. Na anytime soon, posibleng maganap, kung ang pagbabatayan ay ang  namamagitang serious relationship between her and Cavite Vice Governor, Jolo Revilla.

Himself as Dad to  11-year old Gab, tamang panahon na lang daw ang hinihintay ni Vice Governor Jolo, para makasal sila ni Jodi. As it is daw, the two of them have the blessings of his parents, Senator Bong Revilla at Bacoor Congresswoman Lani Mercado.

Meanwhile, what’s keeping Jodi busy is her upcoming wedding to Ser Chief (Richard Yap to you and me) in the series, Be Careful With My Heart.

Itinuring this early as the Pambansang Kasalan sa showbiz this year, nagki-create ng trend bawat planong pinakawalan nilang dalawa tungkol sa kasal.

The wedding is reportedly set on November 15, Friday. But as of this writing, wala pa raw napipiling isusuot si Maya (Jodi) sa tatlong wedding attire prepared for her.

Well, the venue of the wedding and where the supposed reception will be held will reportedly be kept underwraps. Until, perhaps, on the day of the wedding itself.

But as Jinny Ocampo, Business Unit head of the production incharge of Be Careful With My Heart, said they will make sure that the occasion will be well-covered on TV and in print.

“Plano to have the traditional practice common among Filipinos during weddings na sundin.

“Kaya, ang maghahatid sa akin sa altar, hanggang to the waiting arms ni Ser Chief ay ang supposed mga magulang ko (ginagampanan nina Sylvia Sanchez at Lito Pimentel),” ani Maya.

The rest of the bridal entourage will, most-likely, include Mutya (Mutya Orquia), Maya’s ward and Ser Chief’s two other children, played by Janelle Salvador and Jerome Ponce.

Dahil sa enthusiasm, not to say excitement na kini-create ng dalawang pangunahing tauhan ng serye sa supposed kasalang magaganap sa kanila, malamang daw na ma-prolong pa ang serialization ng Be Careful With My heart.

Some what, perhaps directors Jeffrey Jeturian and Mervyn Brondial can say this apparently ‘di maiiwasang extension ng series, is ‘amen.’

So be it din, mula sa amin.

Gov. Vi wala pa ring muwang sa nangyari kina Luis at Jennylyn

Nakahabol din pala si Luis Manzano sa selebrasyon ng kanyang mommy, si Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, that is, sa pag-celebrate nito ng 60th birthday sa Tokyo, Japan last Nov. 3.

Originally daw, Governor Vi and her group of 13, which included husband Ralph Recto and their son, Ryan Christian, planned to extend their stay in Tokyo to another week. But as is common knowledge, on the supposed eve of Ate Vi’s birthday, November 2, natanggap nila ang balitang binawian ng buhay ang 72 year-old na ina ni Senator Ralph, while the old lady was in Cambodia, vacationing with some friends.

November 5 nang makabalik sila ng Maynila.

As earlier planned din daw by Luis, he was supposed pala to leave with former girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado, had not the two of them brokeup.

To date, kahit daw si Governor Vi ay walang ideya why Luis and Jennylyn separated.
