Now it can be told that Mikael Daez and his Miss World girlfriend Megan Young are no more.
Mikael, who confirmed this report to a few friends, would not elaborate though on how the two of them broke up. But did you know na three years din palang nagtagal ang kanilang relasyon?
It was a common decision though, between them, to keep to themselves their romance as it could affect their respective showbiz career.
While Megan is busy with her duties bilang Miss World, equally busy din si Mikael who will start with a new soap for his home network, GMA 7.
Daily, well, every night, in the newscast Saksi, Mikael is featured bilang ‘‘food taster.’’
Shaina aasikasuhin na ang future kaya todo kayod
Unlike in her past birthdays (Nov. 6) when Shaina Magdayao would leave for abroad para roon magdiwang, this time ay dito lang siya.

She is also in the cast of Pagpag, a Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, co-starring her with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. Directed by Frasco Mortiz, Pagpag is produced by Skyline Productions.
Denying that she is still nursing a broken heart, caused by her now nearly a year breakup with John Lloyd Cruz (JLC), Shaina said it is her decision not to fall in love muna. Magku-concentrate raw muna siya sa kanyang showbiz career instead. After all nga naman, she has never found herself saddled with work than now.
Kaya she might as well take advantage of it. At 24, feel ni Shaina, it’s high time she prepares for her future.
The Voice season 2 sa March na
There will be a second season for the ‘‘franchised’’ reality show, The Voice of the Philippines.
This, we learned from no less than Alou Almaden. Business unit head ng nabanggit na produksiyon. Pero magaganap daw ito in March next year.
Asked if they will have the same coaches, Lea Salonga, apl.de.ap, Sara Geronimo, and Bamboo, wala pa raw ideya si Alou.
This year’s winner in the first The Voice of the Philippines was Mitoy Yonting, a protégé ni Lea.
Ynna hindi mamimili ng role sa KapAmilya
For her first project as a new Star Magic talent, Ynna Asistio might be featured in a Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode, which, according to the young actress, she looks forward to.
Kahit daw kasi noong under contract pa siya sa ibang network, tagahanga na siya ng drama anthoÂlogy na ito.
Asked what type of role she would want to portray, Ynna quipped: ‘‘It doesn’t really matter. Basta kung anumang role ang ibigay sa akin I will do my best.’’
Ynna has been in the business for sometime. But isa sa kanyang mga talent kumbaga, which has been untapped, ay ang pagiging singer. In her younger days daw, according to Ynna, she took up singing lessons.
It was her mom, former Regal Baby, Nadia Montenegro, who encouraged her to concentrate on acting.
Now an ABS-CBN talent herself, Nadia is featured in Maria Mercedes, a Tagalog adaptation of the popular Mexican novela, Maria Mercedes, top billed by then Mexican superstar Thalia.
In the local version of Maria Mercedes, Jessy Mendiola plays the title role. Her leading men are Jake Cuenca, Jason Abalos, and Ariel Rivera.
