Marian kilala na mula ulo hanggang paa ni AiAi

Now good friends in real life, feel ni AiAi delas Alas, kung may maituturing na edge sa kanya si Marian Rivera, whom for the first time she’s doing a movie with sa Kung Fu Divas, well, ito ay ang pagkakaroon niya ng isang Dingdong Dantes, isang boyfriend na matapat, guwapo, at tunay na nagmamahal sa kanya.

‘‘Kasi kung beauty ang pag-uusapan, iba’t iba rin ang sukatan ng pagiging maganda, ’di ba?

‘‘In my own way, I believe I’m beautiful. And I think all my three children will agree with me. Ganun din ang mga matatapat kong kaibigan at following.

 â€˜â€˜Kung kahusayan sa pag-aartista naman ang pag-uusapan, well, mahusay ako. And I have several awards to prove that.

‘‘As a box-office star din, I have had my hits. And we all have to agree that Marian has had hers, too.

‘‘One thing na ’di ko makakalimutan tungkol sa Kung Fu Divas ay ang makatrabaho si Marian. At higit sa lahat, maging friend siya,’’ masayang pahayag ng Comedy Concert Queen.

The public as well, ani pa ni AiAi, will be impressed with their respective performances sa walang sapawang namagitan sa kanila, lalo’t sa kanilang eksenang they exchange knowhows sa Kung Fu Divas.

Do you know that for those ‘‘kung fu’’ scenes involving them, Direk Onat Diaz hired a master from China para maturuan sina AiAi at Marian of this kind of martial arts?

But it’s worth it, ani mismo ng dalawang bida. AiAi and Marian are co-producers of Kung Fu Divas pero ’di lang daw ito ang dahilan why the two of them were extra cooperative during the filming. If at all, they both liked the project.

‘‘I guess that was one reason, on my end, halimbawa, why I didn’t think twice about accep­ting the offer when I was first approached by Direk Onat,’’ salaysay ni Ma­rian. ‘‘I went out of my way na hingin ang permiso ng aking network (GMA 7) and, of course, Regal Entertainment, dahil nakakontrata ako sa kanila, when it comes to films.”

‘‘Ako naman, type ko ang entire concept ng project. Isa pa, I want to work with Direk Onat. And, of course, the idea of working with Marian ay ’di ko alam how to describe it,” sabi ni AiAi.

“After all, ’di ko siya gaanong kilala bago kami nagkatrabaho in the movie. Ngayon, feeling ko, I know her from head to foot. ’Di lang siya mabait, marunong pang makisama.’’

To date, susog pa ni AiAi, na inayunan ng mga co-star nilang sina Roderick Paulate at Nova Villa, nakakatanggap pa sila from time to time ng mga pagkaing niluto ni Marian mismo.

Nova plays Marian’s lola. Her leading man is Edward Mendez.

Guess nga pala kung sino naman ang members ng family ni AiAi?

Beauty queens all, would you believe? Ermat (mother) niya si Gloria Diaz (former Miss Universe) at supposedly ay mga kapatid niya sina Precious Lara Quigaman (formerly Miss International) at Bianca Manalo (Bb. Pilipinas Universe).
