Sa kanyang paglipat sa bagong bahay, ’di raw kasama ni Lovi ang kanyang mother who was once in showbiz, too.

Maricel Soriano, no doubt, is making up for lost time.

If in the past year ay ’di siya busy, dala obviously ng controversy involving her sa series which she was supposed to do with ABS-CBN co-starring with Gerald Anderson sana, these days masasabing busy as a bee na ang Diamond Star.

Tapos na tapos na ang movie na Oh My Mama Mia, her first film with Viva Films, co-starring her with Gabby Concepcion, Andi Eigenmann, and Billy Crawford, and directed by Wenn Deramas.

Maliban nga pala kay Gabby, with whom as a former co-Regal Baby ay nakasama na niya sa ilang pelikula, sina Andi at Billy ay first time niyang makatrabaho.

Direk Wenn though never abused his paghanga kay Maricel, who proved a professional during the entire filming of Oh My Mama Mia.

No wonder that the two are working together anew in the co-produced movie ng Star Cinema at Viva Films, Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy, topbilled by Vice Ganda.

The film is an entry in the December Metro Manila Film Festival where last year Vice Ganda’s Sisterakas with AiAi delas Alas and Kris Aquino emerged top grosser.

Will history repeat itself?

‘‘I’m keeping my fingers crossed,’’ sagot ni Direk Wenn who, by the way, was also the director of Sisterakas.

QCGH hindi matatawaran ang serbisyo

Allow us, Salve A., to thank on behalf of fellow PM columnist and friend Letty Celi ang mga personality na nag-asikaso sa kanya habang naka-confine siya due to diabetes sa Quezon City General Hospital (QCGH) na ang facilities at serbisyo ay hindi matatawaran.

Kabilang ang director ng QCGH na sina Dr. Antonio Cabigas; Patricia Lim, secretary ni Dr. Cabigas; Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) head ng QCGH na si Veneranda Leal; at Ma. Alma Maderasco.

Special thanks to Dr. Donna Ricca Hornilla who personally attended to Manay Letty. A graduate of the UST Medical School, 26 years old lang si doktora.

And most of all, sincere thanks din sa buong pamunuan ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) headed by Fernan de Guzman, and of which Manay Letty is an officer as well; kay Quezon City Herbert Bautista; kay Tates Gana, ang First Lady ng QC, who personally arranged an ambulance for Manay Letty from her house in Sta.
