Luis Jurado mihimo og impresyon sa national short course swim meet
CEBU, Philippines — Ang Boholano swimmer nga si Luis Cinches Jurado mihakot og pito ka medalya ug mikulit og lima ka personal records sa 2026 Philippine Aquatics Speedo-Smart Short Course National Championships nga gipahigayon ning bag-ohay pa lamang didto sa New Clark City Aquatics Center sa Capas, Tarlac.
Si Jurado mikolekta og duha ka gold medals, tulo ka silver ug duha ka bronze sa nasudnong kompetisyon. Iyang nahatud ang labing nindot niyang performance sa 200m freestyle diin siya mipatak og oras nga 1:56.21 aron angkonon ang unang puwesto.
“This achievement in the 200m freestyle means a lot to me. More than the result itself, it motivates me to keep improving, push myself further, and aim for bigger goals,” matud pa ni Jurado.
Misidlak sab siya sa 800m freestyle nga iyang gihuman sa oras nga 8:54.61 ug gipaubsan og 22 segundos ang miagi niyang personal nga marka.
Sa 1,500m freestyle, si Jurado mipahiluna sa ikatulong dapit sa oras nga 17:22.31 apan minindot kini og 12 segundos sa miaging niyang rekord.
Mi-establisar sab siya og personal best sa 100m freestyle sa oras nga 54.13 segundos ingon man sa 100m individual medley sa oras nga 1:01.24.
Si Jurado mibira sab og silver isa 50m freestyle sa oras nga 25.08 segundos.
Mitapos siya nga ikaduha sa mga partisipante nga nag-edad og 16 anyos ug ika-12 sa kinatibuk-an sa hiniusangTop 25 rankings sa nagkadaiyang mga age groups.
