Go For Gold magiging kasangga ng FIBA sa 2019 World Cup
MIES, Switzerland — Nakipagkasundo ang Go For Gold Philippines, ang nangungunang lottery scratch card brand sa Pilipinas na hatid ng Powerball Marketing & Logistics Corporation, sa FIBA para sa isang promotional partnership.
Ang Go For Gold ang mangangasiwa sa promotion ng worldwide FIBA competitions sa bansa hanggang Hunyo 30, 2020.
Ayon kay Powerball vice president for marketing Je-remy Go, hangad ng Go For Gold program na mahikayat ang mga kabataan na magpursige sa pamamagitan ng sports.
“The national team competitions within FIBA basketball are key. We want to capture more attention and more followers for FIBA basketball,” ani Director General of FIBA Media and Marketing Services (FMMS) Frank Leenders.
Layunin ng nasabing partnership na pasabikin ang mga Filipino basketball fans para sa darating na FIBA World Cup 2019 kung saan sasabak ang Gilas Pilipinas team sa ikalawang sunod na pagkakataon.
“We want the fans to get excited about their national team moving towards our primary competitions. By seeking out partners in the Philippines and by bringing the FIBA Basketball World Cup Trophy to the country, we’re engaging our fans and helping them to feel a part of the World Cup competition this year,” dagdag pa ni Leenders.
Kasabay nito ay gusto naman ng Go For Gold na basagin ang Guinness World Record para sa pinakamaraming tao na magkasabay na nagdidribol ng basketball sa iisang venue.
Ang record para rito ay 7,556 sa event na inorganisa ng United Nations Relief and Works Agency sa Rafah, Gaza Strip, Palestine noong Hulyo 22, 2010.
Puntirya ng Go For Gold na makahikayat ng halos 10,000 dribblers sa event na nakatakda sa Hulyo 21 sa Mall of Asia grounds.
