DAET, Camarines Norte, Philippines — Isa na namang foreign cyclist ang hinirang na lap winner sa 2019 Le Tour de Filipinas.

Nagsumite si German rider Mario Vogt ng Team Sapura Cycling (Malaysia) ng bilis na apat na oras, 49 minuto at anim na segundo para pagharian ang Stage Two 194.9 kms mula sa Pagbilao, Quezon hanggang dito kahapon.

“Actually, I did not want to join the breakaway group, but I just want to help my teammate (Abd Rasim Mohamad) to win the best young rider,” sabi ni Vogt. “So I went on to join the (breakaway) group and win this stage.”

Inungusan ni Vogt si Kohei Uchima (4:49.06) ng Team Ukyo, Choon Huat Goh (4:49.11) ng Terengganu Cycling Team at sina John Paul Morales ng Philippine National Team, Jamalidin Novardianto ng PGN Road Cycling Team, Mohd Zamri Saleh ng Terengganu, Li Shuai ng Taiyuan Mogee Cycling Team, Abd Rasim Mohamad ng Team Sapura, Dominc Perez ng 7-Eleven Cliqq-Air21, Setthawut Yordsuwan ng Thailand National Team, Aiman Cahyadi ng PGN Road Cycling ay Jhon Mark Camingao ng Philippine National Team na may magkakatulad na oras na 4:52.11.

Sa kabila naman ng pagpuwesto sa No. 21 ay nanatiling hawak ni Stage One winner Jeroen Meijers ng Taiyuan Mogee Cycling Team ang liderato sa individual general classification sa kanyang oras na 7:59.00 sa nasabing Category 2.2 event na may basbas ng International Cycling Union (UCI).

Nauna nang inangkin ni Meijers ang Stage One 129.50 kms. sa Tagaytay City sa kanyang bilis na 03:06.59 para isuot ang purple jersey noong Biyernes.
